It's a scouse or Irish saying for a Catholic, based on rural Irish communities and what foot you used when digging with a spade. ...... or something like that
Well from my Irish perspective ... we called the proddies "left leggers" or "black proddy bastards" but thats by the by. Im not a bigot i know 3 proddie bastards
As for saint's original point about confirmation, all Christians are confirmed, not just left-footers.
Do all Christians get bundles of money in cards and a day at the pub for the parents, and relations of legal age to get pissed, when they make their confirmation. Or is that just catholics or is that just irish catholics ?
Confirmations are low key, First Communions are a different story, and pretty similar to what you describe. Although I suspect the Irish ones would drink us under the table
I'd have put money on some smartarse saying that. Oh, sorry- I mean writing that. Last time I defend one of your **** threads.
Watch this and catch some of your mates It works most of the time , some people get it straight off though
If it didn't have it in the title description I wouldn't have had a clue what they were on about. Of all the accents to do this with Aussie or New Zealand is the worst because of the way they pronounce their vowel sounds. Funny though
