    Just read the article in full....how come our stats lead recruitment policy works better than at Liverpool....better stats I guess (or better analysis of those facts). Or perhaps we use stats/analysis as a tool rather than as a holy book (never to be questioned).

    Yet another very good reason to not bother to watch England games. I suppose the upside would be that the England team would be totally made up with Saints players seeing as he has such a fondness for them.

    Hmm... if Rodgers was selected for the England managers job, perhaps someone should write something like this:

    I have absolutely no sympathy for The FA.
    They have a choice
    They don't have to select Rodgers
    They have that choice
    Maybe England's objectives have changed
    They could have been on course to win a World Cup,
    I believe, but obviously that must have changed.

    Andy Carroll was asked for his prediction before the Everton/Liverpool game (knowing a bad result could mean the sack for Rodgers). He tweeted: Win/win for Liverpool. :)
