    By the way, the plastering job at my daughter's.

    Hack off existing plaster to a metre above floor level to the whole of the ground floor. Replaster using appropriate mix Skim all ground floor walls to a paint-ready finish. £700

    Agreed. It's gone from being the most low grade, and therefore entertaining, soap opera to an episode of Homes Under the Hammer that was considered too dull to air. Can we not just focus on the rejects from the Jeremy Kyle Show?
