    Klopp wont last three years.
People are talking about McClaren being sacked.
I think the problem with transfer committees is it's always possible to buy a cheaper player. Some of the money being spent on players is ridiculous. There's only the manager who can really understand who would fit into the team given the changes he wants to make.
The Star was saying that Mourhino would get £37m if he was sacked. I doubt that there aren't clauses in his contract that would set out smaller payouts if he was sacked under certain circumstances - similar to Moyes who only got one years salary.

As I live in Canada, I suddenly have the avatar, with the outline of a former penal colony, attached to me, I feel like I have shaken hands with and been hugged by a guy wearing way too much sickening cologne.

I have contacted Not606 but if there is a moderator who can fix this, please do.

Am I missing something? All I can see on your avatar is the default white head on a red background.

For anyone else having issues, the quickest way to point ig out is probably to click the 'report' function , as it flags up when we log on.

On my screen, my avatar has Hull City AFC in white type on black above a tigers head and outlined by Australia's coastline.

    Does anyone else see this?

I've sent you a PM. If you send me the picture you'd like to use, I'll ask the supermods to change it. No idea why it should have changed in the first place though.

Edit. I've asked the question on the mods board. I'll get back to you with any answers.

2nd edit. Is this the avatar you're now seeing?

Liverpool fans demand to know why potential new manager hasn’t turned things around yet...

LIVERPOOL fans are demanding the dismissal of the man who has yet to be confirmed as the club’s new manager.

Possible replacement manager Jurgen Klopp has failed to make Liverpool the most feared club in football despite being widely tipped to start working there soon.

Season ticket holder Norman Steele said: “I’m a patient man but Klopp should have restored us to the pinnacle of European football by now.

“You have to question his commitment, especially as he has not yet signed any paperwork.”

Stephen Malley said: “How much longer are we going to give Klopp? He’s done literally nothing so far.

“I’m going to set up a Klopp Out Facebook group.”

It will end in tears. There'll be a few good quotes over a couple of years followed by excuses and then a sacking. Klopp seems like Mourhino without the ability.

    How odd - that's SydneyTiger14's avatar.

If we all start getting other people's avatars forced on us, it's the beginning of the end. The nutters might be right after all.

Oh yes. A media dream Jurgen Klop;p is. Klopp / Liverpool will either be a marriage made in heaven
or an utter train wreck. If it is the latter then god help Liverpool.

Correct, however he has ruled out any job for this season to end any speculation.

So it looks like it is the Klopp for the Kop.

He did well with Borussia Dortmund mainly because he had Gotze and Lewandowski. Once they went..........

However he does have some talent @ Liverpool. Certainly good enough for 5th place in the PL. imo.

Klopp could do worse tham take Robbie Fowler on as striker coach and Jamie Carragher in a similar role to what Ryan Giggs has @ Man Utd.

Also, Klopp needs to bin that transfer by commitee system. It does not work.
