Fernandinho is also one. He makes like 20 fouls a match, never ever booked.

To suggest Gardos while injured is nuts. Romeu? I won't bother reading the article.

They appear to have changed Romeu to Juanmi.

For those who, perhaps understandbly, don't want to read that article, I'll give the reasoning behind their choices:

Ramirez: Saints have been brilliant in the transfer market these last two seasons. But not always. Saints have improved since signing Gaston. Have to admit, that's true. Come January we might have the real Ramirez after all, or not.

Gardos: The article says he hasn't impressed. To be honest, I thought he was brilliant against Arsenal in the LC and ManU in the PL. They forget he's been long term injured, and I think he'll be one for the future, in any case. Being a CB is usually for the mature player anyway. Which indicates how good VvD is going to get.

Isgrove: A loan. Yep, I agree. Best for him, with a proviso we can call him back pronto should everyone go down with food poisoning.

Kelvin: They say Saints are aiming for the top and there's no room for sentiment. Possibly, but SKD adds so much more than being a squad man. He's the club leader off the pitch.

Juanmi: Says he's not getting a look in and a loan would be good. I'd say give him enough time to unpack his bags before we send him on his travels again. January might be the time. Dunno.

Kelvin is likely to retire at the end of the season. Think that article is probably a template for every club and the fact they're struggling to get 5 sensible names is a testament to how well run our squad is compared to the many over-inflated PL squads.

As for Juanmi, he is very much part of the squad and has been on the bench for every game and is only a suspension or injury away from being more active.

My mistake over Juanmi....my brain has them in the same file for some reason. My argument about SKD was more that I can't see him going in January....and I hope he might be kept on in some capacity...be cruel to send him out into the world at his age :)

I'd imagine SKD will retire at the end of the season at the end of his contract. Think he'll be kept on.

Isgrove is a strange one. We gave him a new 2-yr deal, but seems further away than he was this time last year.

Gardos is obviosly injured, so won't be going anywhere. I think he's done alright so far.

Ramirez, yep I'll give them that one.

As for Juanmi, well, can't judge him. But can't see him leaving in Jan.

I like the way Klopp rhymes with flop. Seems like Liverpool are trying to make the tabloid presses life even easier.

I remember the thrill when JRod signed a new contract because of its rarity. Most players consider us a step to a bigger side, especially now they have seen their predecessors do it. In the lower leagues, players fell over themselves to improve their contracts with us, but now we are in the big pond they have estate agents on speed dial. They don't learn from what has happened to some who have left us, because naturally they have confidence in themselves to succeed.

Now if Koeman extended his contract.......(please don't wake me yet).

He owes us that. Still gets a move, but on our terms. ~I think he's far better suited to us, than elsewhere especially at this crucial stage of his development. But I bet his agent doesn't think that!

Will depend on the new manager, his tactics and how he feels about Lallana (and others). The players have until January to prove they can fit in with the new plans. Adam's future rather depends on Klopp's style (assuming he is the new manager) and on how much leeway the new man has to bring in his own players. I think most changes will be in the summer.

Brenda would be perfect for Sunderland, they have a long history of pissing money away on bad transfers
