For a manager and team that can bring us success will mean they will be granted legendary status..
There is that I suppose.
Whoever it is will have to do it on a shoestring `cos they aint going to get much dosh to play with.

I am not comfortable agreeing - but he could get things sorted at the grass roots level and we do have a few very capable youngsters at the moment - they'll be elsewhere if we're not careful - watmore have they to do !!We need a manager who, regardless of his public persona, the players will run through walls for, one who brings young players on, and who can clear out the deadwood.
Gentlemen, Ladies, (and the iffy types), I give you.... Nigel Pearson.
On what chargeI've said it once, and I'll say it again. Bring in Howard Wilkinson!

Roy Keane anyone?
Do we have to be realistic?
Ancelotti is a free agent at the moment......
Not sure if anyone heard this but I was talking to my mate after the match on Saturday and he said that, apparently, Short has been having meeting with Mickey Gray and discussing the club with someone who supports the club and knows (basically) what we want - no idea whether it is true or now but would be interesting if he's taken heed of a "fan" (although I'm not too sure about Mickey being a fan like I class myself or if he's let Talkshite get to his head!!)
I wouldn't be disappointed with Allardyce as he is a mid-table manager - he's "next level" to what we are at the moment - De Boer would be great mind but I don;t think he's realistic in our current position!
Mid-table manager?? Any manager who can get us there, and keep us there is a bloody genius to me!
If gobby saggy-fulla-****-a-chops can just keep his gob shut for long enough we might have a chance of getting Big Sam signed up and getting up to those heady-heights of mid-table!!!
With Peter Reid as dofI'd take Nigel Pearson with Kevin Phillips me
