I know mate you work all your life and pay all your dues.because you have made plans for the future 8 month before you get your o.a.p.your told you may receive £78 a week less FIGURES NOT CORRECT YET.
The best I have heard about the public/private sector debate is from someone I know who works in the public sector. Due to the cuts they are understaffed and cannot recruit new permanent employees so they have to get temps from an agency. The temps are paid just over DOUBLE what the employees are paid and they are only allowed due to contract to do HALF of the workload of the employees. So the private sector are effectively creaming cash off the public sector. I think its Jeremy Corbyn's fault.
I retired Jan 2007 returned immediately half hours per week first wage £865 per month.now nearly nine years later £863 per month. No rise more deductions due to upping the pension deductions
Aye I have had a 1% rise in the last 6 years but as you say pension contributions have gone up - what really gets me though is how the right wing press are economical and manipulative with the facts to get private sector workers up against the public sector workers
Yeh mate they want people to fight against each other and blame each other .it take the pressure off them who are the real problem
