Because the figures look much worse if you use 2010/11. 2010/11 2015/16 1 21478 19361 2 20426 16579 3 19714 16949 4 21180 16651 5 20626 16486 Total 103424 86026 Average 20685 17205 Difference between the first five games of the season per game 3480.
Upps! 21,478 20,426 19,714 21,180 20,626 103424 Avg 20685 difference 3480 I just could not see 5000 difference
I think a bit of it might be down to the policy of Austerity that has hit the pockets of folk in the North particularly hard.
Agree with you as 11/12 was the second season after relegation. For 2010/2011 1 21478 2 20426 3 19714 4 21186 5 20626 Total 103424 ave. 20685 ( compared 17205 this season).
The drop in gates is purely down to that pair of twats and PL whores disappearing. Who can argue it's anything else. Austerity could play a part but I would argue if you are enjoying the experience and you 'want to be there' you usually find a way.
Here's the next 5 for 10/11 so you can keep up to date 6 20776 7 20378 8 21873 9 20535 10 20299 Total 103861 Ave 20772.
No I haven't dented his fortune at all However I hope the other 4 are enjoying the away games too. I can't find the time to do home and away anyway so choosing away instead is quite pleasant. I thoroughly enjoyed Forest on Saturday I must admit I am considering returning to home games purely because AA isn't there and so I doubt the atmosphere is as toxic, but for now I'm comfortable with my choice...it's quite liberating
But they're the exception, I was surprised how low they were, the league average is less than half that number.
When Nigel Pearson was the manager, we had Adam Pearson giving ticket away to schools and Junior football clubs, which would of affected the numbers
I wonder how other clubs have compared, I suppose its difficult to compare with our promotions, relegations, Wembley visits, novelty of first time in the premier league, owner disputes ect. We've had a lot going on when you think about it
But Councillor Terry ****witt publicly said that Hull City cannot fill the KC even in the Premier League.
One factor is the deadline to renew your pass last time we came down was within the season (before that final game) so many renewed hoping we would stay up. Obviously the other factor is our chairman.
Hows that then , if you're skint you're skint. It's always the well-off coming out with things like this. The owners bumping up the prices is too much for a lot of people.
