They decided to sack him ahead of today's game, so today's result was irrelevant. They haven't contacted anyone else yet, but it seems they want Klopp or Ancelotti and there'll be no caretaker appointment.
I'm gonna have a bet on Walther Mazzarri for either this or Sunlan. His agent said this very week that he's learning English, can't be a coincidence.
It's all over the news that knows that they see Klopp as a better fit than Carlo. Walther may have been spotted to fly here last week, but he isn't in the running. Chris Bascmbe and the local rags have the above on good authority. They are to talk to Klopp this week. He fits better into the ethos of the club, the existing squad, and the structure. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...-will-open-discussions-with-Jurgen-Klopp.html Even carragher has said he hears from inside it isn't 100% yet as they aren't completely convinced, so there is still room for one of the other candidates if he doesn't convince. Ronnie Pickering is outside Anfield asking the board for a fight as we speak.
Another club with impatient, deluded owners and fans - Rodgers was on an hiding to nothing when Suarez's goals rocketed them to a false, and hugely overachieving, second position. Liverpool aren't a top four club and haven't been for years, their ground's too small and their owners don't have enough money. They failed to replace the heart and soul of their team, Carragher and Gerrard (cos' they ain't got the money) they then ****ed about and spunked the Suarez and Sterling money on players who aren't good enough to get them to a top four spot. Liverpool are a second rank, 5th to 8th club, and will be for years. When I was younger, the ''Hull reds'' were a more loathsome bunch than the ''FC whites'' ............ and that's saying summat, long may their woes continue, the ****s.
I do love the way way he posts it as fact. And if anyone - anyone - genuinely thinks Liverpool have sacked their manager without at least sounding out alternatives then they're either naive, stupid or both.
Exactly. That's what intermediaries are for! He has already said he wants the job, to the clubs agents, they just have to decide whether he deserves it. The telling fact is the owners aren't totally sure yet, but he is their number one candidate and he is already in dialogue unofficially.
I can't see Klopp entertaining this transfer committee nonsense at Liverpool. All these clubs that have a committee deciding transfers never seem to work.
Agree, I hate Liverpool mainly for their loathsome fans. Rodgers record in 4 games against City is terrible, never thought we would record 2 wins, 1 draw and just 1 defeat, for this I'm grateful, thanks for the memories Brendan.
Klopp has had two club both for relatively long periods of time, which impresses me. Ancelotti is a class manager who seems to be able to do a good job wherever he goes. When he's been sacked it's been due to panicky owners. I thought he was fantastic at Chelsea.
You mean like Benitez who went no where. Apart from Chelsea and RM. and Woy who had no future apart from England's top job? Hmmmm
For the same reason I can't see Sam A Lard Arse going to Sunlan - unless they give him full control of transfers in and out
