Some will call for his head when we lose the next 2, then again that other lot will call for their managers head when Lewandowski and co batter them twice

The former Borussia Dortmund coach is favourite to take over from the Northern Irishman, with ex-Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti also a contender. German Klopp, 48, is understood to be open to the idea of a move. Talks with his representatives are progressing well and the club want a new manager in place to prepare for a visit to Tottenham on 17 October. In a statement issued by the League Managers' Association on his behalf, Rodgers, 42, said he was "incredibly disappointed" his three-and-a-half-year tenure at Anfield was over. "It has been both an honour and a privilege to manage one of the game's great clubs," said the Northern Irishman, who was sacked after Sunday's 1-1 Merseyside derby draw at Everton. "I have worked every day to represent the club to the best of my ability, to develop both individual players and a team that the club's magnificent fans can be proud of. "There have been some very memorable moments during my time at Liverpool and I would like to thank all of the players for their hard work and commitment." Rodgers, who said he is in no rush to take another job, added the Reds squad was in transition but was showing a "strong sense of togetherness". Negotiations will now take place over his severance package, which could cost Liverpool in excess of £5m.
It is starting to look like Klopp will be appointed, should be interesting as he tried to implement his style into the team. Hard work constant pressing and most importantly attacking football. I'm looking forward to having Liverpool back.
One thing against Jurgen Klopp is selling his best players, don't know if that would make FSG sports happy or sad.
He was always in a position of having very little choice, similar to us with Suarez and Sterling. I've no problem selling a player if he wants to move but as always it'll be abroad unless we feel a transfer in the UK doesn't really hurt us.
well they should be happy they would have a manager with a wining mentality, and if you lose your best players its harder to progress and win things. besides they can always concentrate on bringing youth in cheap and selling at a profit if thats what they want rather than keep ripping the first team apart just to make a profit.
That's beyond his control - however he is proven of being able to ensure minimal disruption unlike Rodgers after he lost Suarez.
Gutted you're seemingly getting Klopp tbh, as he's top draw IMO. He'll do a fine job I'm sure, a completely different league of manager from the bullshitting fraud you've just binned off.
I think it speaks volumes when rival fans say such things. Agree with you - bringing in a manger with his pedigree will hopefully Instill belief in the players and a bit of fear in the opposition.
I don't think he'll even manage at that level, I can see him dipping down into the Championship. Failing and then ending up at some backwater in the lower reaches of the pyramid
Rodgers is on holiday in Spain £M7 compensation is like winning the lottery. He also have portfolio of properties.
