If you want to admit that you don't have a lot of money then fair do's. I have met people like that who say "I don't go the pub because..." or "I don't have a phone because..." Thiose people more often or not are just tight with their money. I have no problem with that, time's are hard and it's up to you how you spend your £.
I don't think it's so much about cost MP, every second kid has a mobile. It's more the that the bloody thing seems to be taking over.
I just spend my money wisely People know where i live if they want to chat £2.80 for a pint of lager, or £2.39 for 2 litres of cider no contest
That's what I said mate, it's up to you. What I do hate is getting the bus home from work and some bratty wee kid is playing their music through their phone, but not using headphones, on loud speaker. Terrible, terrible music being blasted out to a lot of tired, frustrated people.
Yet another reason to hate public transport. They never play decent music, just dance music (ironic name considering it is impossiible to dance to it with any dignity) and ****e like that.
Spot on - and you can't say anything for fear of getting a knife in your gut. little runts have taken over the streets (and buses and trains) and we've all let them do it cos we're too terrified of challenging them.

It doesn't matter what type of music they're playing. I would get wound up with the little buggers if they were playing Motown or punk. The point is that nobody should be inflciting their own music on anybody else on public transport or, for that matter, in any other public place
Don't know where you live pal, but we haven't been taken over by youngsters. They are usually known as wee slabbers and rather than be afraid of him attacking me I would be too afriad of losing the bap and me attacking one of them.
If anyone I am with starts chatting or texting on their phone I will get up and walk out. Apart from perhaps responding that they are busy and will call back later, there is no need to be on the mobile if you are in company. Sadly you see too often people out with others only to spend most of their time on the phone calling/texting others. How utterly rude can you get. Mobiles have turned so many into social ******s.
This. Human interaction is becoming obsolete which is something I regard with genuine horror. There is nothing like a face to face conversation where you can see their reactions on their face and in the body language but many people have no idea how to converse face to face these days. You even get text language coming into normal everyday language. I cannot tell you how many work emails I have received where text language is a feature.
