At the time Arteta and Flamini will be certainly will certainly be available for selection. We have three players who could come back and be available again and I don’t think we lost anybody from our last game. on Jack Wilshere and Danny Welbeck… They are progressing well. Danny Welbeck at the earliest will be back [at the] beginning of January. on Alexis playing for Chile not fully fit… I cannot do a lot about it. He came off as you have seen against Manchester United with a hip problem, a problem with the rotator muscle and he wanted to go. He played in the last two games and we have to see how he comes back but it is always a tricky situation Chile are trying to qualify for the World Cup and he is an important player for them but they will use him if they can. He is a guy that always wants to play so I knew that was always going to be a tricky situation.
After beating Utd I'm hoping we put together a string of wins in the league and Watford should be a game we are winning. If we play like we did on the weekend we will win this game by a big margin. We play Bayern a few days after this in the CL so I can see Wenger possibly rotating a bit, but I think I'd go with the same team we played against Utd for both games. Keep them playing together.
Your so boring. "After beating Utd" is supposed to show there is reason behind my hope that we will put together a string of wins. That the confidence and performance of the Utd game could spur us on to more victories. I thought that was pretty obvious from my comment.
I can't help myself, your comments are always amusing. Anyway, you don't need reason behind your hope, you're always full of hope regardless! Hopefully we go on a string of wins now just like we did after our 5-2 mauling of Leicester.
That would be Arsenal's luck wouldn't it? I saw something saying 3 weeks, but it was the Express and they were calling him 'Johnny Foreigner' instead of using his real name, with phrases like 'over here' and 'stealing honest Brits like Mathew Upsons jobs'! So I'm not sure how much I could trust the article...
Not good that Kos is out, but we have another CB in Gabriel. It will be interesting to see how he does for us as cover. We can still do the little and large combo.
For the Watford game I'd probably only rest Monreal and Ramsey, for Gibbs and the OX......Ramsey is a workhorse, so we will need all his energy for the Munich game, so probably best give him the game off, also considering he is a certain starter for Wales. Other than that, keep the same team.
Much more confident with resting Monreal than Bellerin. Debuchy has just massivly underperformed while given the chance, and while Gibbs started poorly this season his performances of late have improved. Team management will be key for our next 3 games. Sheffield Wednesday can be given to the B-Team.
Not liking what I've seen so far. Watford have their tactics spot on and are playing on the break. We need the first goal.
Is it just me or is the atmosphere really subdued? We need to step it up. Passing it around without any clear chances. And just as I say that, Ramsey skies it over from close range. You have to score that.
The way we play sometimes really pisses me off. Why do we cross it into the box when we aren't fielding any attacking player with height? Walcott against Cathcart is a foregone conclusion.
