Who thinks hed do a good job for us then? Decent coach but hes shyte in the transfer market. Weve had enough managers blow big money on average players so its a NO from me.
Not sure whether I'd take him really. Signings have been shaky. Not sure how well he's done anywhere. Liverpool... Enough said. Swansea? I think their board does most of the hard work for their managers.
Pretty much my thoughts, I've never been fully convinced by him. Probably a better choice than most of the (realistic) managers touted for us though. I'd put him on a par with Allardyce, don't really want him but I suspect he'd do a job for us.
Aye... If only Congers was staying I think they could work well together. Good point about Borini though... Reading between the lines I think he ****ing hates Rodgers after how he treated him at LFC.
Not sure that`s fair mate. Rodgers told him he wasn`t wanted and accepted our offer. It was Borini who said no. Might be wrong like but that`s the way I read it.
Borini wanted to fight for his place at Liverpool which he didn't get. But this season Rodgers mad m train with the kids FFS! The bloke is a grade a **** whom I wouldn't want anywhere near our club personally!
Worth mentioning it will take months to sort out his severance package and he won't manage until it's done.
Mr Rodgers is a big fat NO from me. I rank him alongside Harry Redknapp personality wise and if he came (HR) I would instantly end my 55 year association with this club.
http://www.sunderlandecho.com/sport...new-sunderland-signing-fabio-borini-1-7455474 Have a read of this fella
But doesn't that make the 8m outlay on Borini pointless as Rodgers treated him like absolute dog ****? (As per the post above)
he has got a higher than 40% win ratio at all clubs he has managed bar 1. 50% win ratio at Liverpool. Working with a DoF I think it would be ok, as I wouldn't want him handling transfers. Out of the current options, he would be one of the best. having said that, the Special One will be looking for a challenge soon once he is sacked from Liverpool. What better way to prove himself as the special one, than making Sunderland into a force to be reckoned with ? Btw, not being serious about Mourinho,
