Whether Ashley sticks with McClaren or not doesn't matter as it is quite clear that unless there is a massive swing in attitude and work rate that he is going to have to bin the business philosophy and bring in 5 or 6 new players in the January window to ensure the club remains in the Premier League, the financial issues make survival this season even more critical with new tv deals kicking in.

 

McClaren's best days are long behind him. He came cap in hand after rejecting us during the Carver debacle and ****ing up Derby's promotion bid. Old Mike would have been rubbing his fat claws with glee as he halfed the balding ****er's wages.

 

Jobs for the boys. Graham Carr 'recommended' McClaren. For that alone he should be sacked, nevermind the numerous dodgy targets he has identified and we have gone on to sign.

I doubt this. Does anyone think Rodgers could work WITH McLaren? Only say that because of Liverpool's "transfer board"....

He's ****e why do you think otherwise? Hes done nothing at Swansea he got promoted and finished 11th thats it.

 

Look at who Watford have! Broaden your horizons ffs.

Anyone talking rodgers, pulis etc are beyond me.

 

Rodgers is awful, I wouldnt want him anywhere near us for the following reasons

A: his preference is 1 striker and 5 in midfield, which we can all pretty much agree hasnt worked for us in the last couple of years
B: His press confrences have great character, but are very repeatitive and will never put his hands up when he gets something wrong, theres always someone/stomething else to blame.
C: he man management is awful, he tells players they are starting during mid week, then drops them on the sat/sun. no exuces, nothing. He was alson instrumental in why Steve Gerrard didnt stay, which was a travesty after everything he gave to the club.
D: his transfer record, he came out and said Tottenham should be challenging for the league after spending 100m after selling bale. He spent over 300m and has acheived nothing

Hopefully he goes to the mackems, the words nail and coffin would come to mind.
