Monumental cock up by Symons in bringing Dembele off.

The threat of his pace is what was pegging Diarra & Bayer back so deep. As soon as he goes off they push up the park a few yards. Because they know that as good a player as McCormack is he's never going to hurt them with his pace.

Games stretched, midfield's pushed further forward, Cousins gambles, gets in the box and boooooooooom... a completely undeserved point in the bag.

Poor that many of us been saying Jackson needs to start, the team has been lacking his leadership.

Guy Luzon is a clueless monkey for keeping him out. Couple of things:
    - Should have brought him on sooner
    - Taking Fox off for Berdigch was poor decision

Not going to piss on the parade, but I can't celebrate that performance. The goal - yes. The rest of it was ****e.

Fulham were **** also. How we went 0-2 down, I'll never know.

Just got home. Like thousands of others, I stayed back for Jackson to finish his TV interview on the pitch, and then applauded him off <cheers>

Fair to say we would have lost without the goal and the passion he brought in his 15 min came. I bought my Reading tickets today - Jacko should be the first name on the team sheet.

I have defended Pope up until today, but one bad mistake too many I fear.

As usual we resorted to that horrible slow sideways passing. Watt and JBG were poor, and sorry, KAG is a little boy lost.

    Thank God for JJ.

In January we need to buy three/four more Jacksons and to get rid of players like Ba & Berdigch who are stealing a living off Charlton!

Ba - or, Duracell as the Danes called him, brings nothing. He's had one good game and brings zero.

What makes me question the scouting (among pretty much everything) is ba. He's hardly kicked a ball in two years. What did they see? My guess is prediction. Ba was probably circulated from Sunderland and we bit their hands off.

Ba is a shocking passer of the ball. He couldn't pass wind. If he starts in place of Jackson at Readng, Luzon won't be popular.

There are hundreds of British players on a par or better than Bergdich. Just another flotsam and jetsam Network nobody.

Hopefully Henderson will be back for Reading , if not we need an emergency goal keeper.

McAleny played quite well though and at least freed up Cousins to play centrally.

FHB hit the nail on the head when he pointed out Pope struggles with the "daisy cutters". He spilled one from o'hara moments before.

He's costing points. I want to put it down to him being young and perhaps inexperienced - but that excuse is wearing thin. Henderson will walk back in.

The fans had been singing for Jackson to come on for about 20 minutes, I thought "Fergie" brought him on reluctantly, just to placate the fans. The determination he showed to get that header in was something we hadn't seen up until then, and it gave the whole team a kick up the jacksie. Like Vol, I waited to applaud him off, and also was calling for him to come on. Our Own Sir Alex will continue to freeze him out at his own peril.

I don't know what it is, but he has a technical problem with this type of shot. The rest of his game has settled down very nicely but this problem persists, and I hope that the new goalkeeping coach can help him sort it out before it destroys his confidence.

The official attendance was given as 14,600 <laugh>

    No. More like 10,000.

The North Upper had more gaps in it today than Reams' intellect.

Only just got home, **** the buses with a rusty spoon. Pope is puzzling, clearly he has improved, he is solid from crosses and makes the worldies. It's just those low shots, it must be an error in his technique, I can't see any other way that he can so consistently make the same mistake.
I agree with the others, the 2-2 has papered over the cracks a bit but I did think we looked alright until the Pope error. Jackson has to start, his presence lifted everyone else around him.

I get the feeling that the 'management' don't like Jackson because he is everything they are not - passionate, popular, and British.

Jackson's presence lifted the crowd as well as the team. I thought Watt in particular stepped up a couple of gears when he came on. I don't really understand why he kept him back, subbing one LB for another LB of similar ability. If anyone had been injured we wouldn't have seen Jacko at all.
We all saw Pope's error for the goal, but what about the wall? What happened there? Those who watched on telly must have seen replays.
