maybe not on wages we are paying him. Barton must have taken a cut to go to Burnley, maybe he is just waiting to see his contract expire before making a move

 

Don't think we'll ever see him play for us again personally. Not too bothered by that either.

 

I think it's more the case that he has to wait for his contract to expire because he'll never again be on 1/4 of what he's on now. Burnley was the best option for Barton so he went there.
