Not sure what to make of that game. A point looks a good result on the face of it as Spurs were far sharper. But it's papering over the cracks. And if we want to move to the next level then Gomis is just not quite good enough.

 

I'd offer QPR £6 million and Gomis for Charlie Austin in January. We need a top class striker.

 

Very enjoyable game as always, lads. Thought we should've won it but there was a good period for you guys when you looked like going 3-1 up so I'm not too disappointed with a draw.

Can we swap Montero for Townsend please?

I agree about what's being said about Gomis today, he's ok but nothing more, and to be honest we need better than OK.
I don't know why we just don't push the boat out financially like we did with Bony. We should be able to spend that sort of money on a striker by now surely.

 

Good game, as we've come to expect when we face you. Very, very open at times, which is increasingly rare in this league.
I thought that we did enough to deserve the win, but we've nicked the odd game off you, so I can't complain.
You were well on top when we got the second equaliser and it seemed to get away from you after that.

Williams was very impressive, again. Really held your defence together at times and made some really important tackles and interceptions.
Montero had a great first half, but virtually disappeared towards the end. Is his fitness a bit dodgy? Might explain why he doesn't always play.

Good luck for the rest of the season. Your form's a bit off right now, but I think you'll turn it round.
You do a lot of things right and have a number of our ex-players, so it'll be nice to see you picking up wins again after the break.

Apart from Arsenal and Man City we've got a decent run of fixtures through to the end of December. (Against what Dai would say are mediocre sides haha). Time to kick on after the international break. Couldn't go today. Is it fair to say Spurs edged it?

 

Scotland or Japan, but that would mean we would have to go for the win against OZ, to top the group...................

 

Better performance from the lads but only just and nowhere near how we played at the start of the season.....there were flashes of brilliance but not a lot that says we are a top 10 club, We need much more improvement from the players as we know they can having showed that at the beginning of the season......Monk needs to stop bullshitting to the fans and in the media on how we are playing well when it is obvious we are not. Today we had just 2 shots on target to spur's 11 and that tells me our defence is not quite right and we are lucky to have one of the best keepers in the premiership to stop 9 shots going in.......At the other end then its clear we are having problems and questions has to be asked why they are not getting enough service or are we playing one touch to many in midfield and not getting the ball quicker to the front.......We have lost some of our flare and monk must admit this or he cant fix it and it really needs fixing if we aim to be a top half team because at this time we are showing to be a bottom half team.....
