I don't drink, what would I be looking for, and why would I want to sit next to someone who all of a sudden is after my blood? not to mention going over old ground that is already on here.

Can't see why it's your most important question Jock, I'm a fan, like everyone on here that's just trying to enjoy being on this forum, personal attacks don't interest me.

Aren't creative sparks suppose to score goals too?

Except these 5 managers didn't last to the end of their tenure, very valid point in my opinion.

Nobody's giving you lectures Chippy, I'm not getting caught up in another childish Chippy/60 saga.

I hope you don't mean me? Your opinions are never offensive to me so would always take them in that spirit even if I disagree with them at times.

Err. First of all, I wasn't drinking yesterday either. Secondly, I'm not after your blood. If I've written anything to suggest that, then I apologise unreservedly. I can't think for the life of me what I might have written to allow you to take that inference. Seriously.

As for our meetup, we were simply putting faces to names, and be better able to understand personalities - pertinent particularly for any future online clashes/debates. For example, Shako could say anything he wanted to me on this forum, with or without emoticons, and I'd never take offence, as he's probably one of the nicest guys I've had the privilege to meet. I'm also sure that 100% of the guys who've met him would agree with every word of that. If you'd popped your head round the door, you'd probably be surprised at a number of things, like how well we all get on in each others' company (despite the abuse being thrown in all directions :D ), how old we all are - grey hair is our common feature (sadly, mine is mostly white), and just how ugly Glory is :D

My question wasn't really the most important. There was a huge ladle of flippancy with it. And it most certainly wasn't a personal attack - just a curious question to understand why you didn't take the opportunity to say hello. I'm sure some of the other lads would have been interested in your answer too. If you had kids with you, then that wouldn't have been a problem, as kids are accommodated in the Drysalters. If you were expecting a loud, boistrous drunken rabble, then we would have disapponted you. A few drinks were consumed, but 50% of them were necked by Shako & his sons (it's a Celtic thing). :D If you were expecting rabid argument, you'd have been very disappointed - in fact after the match, you'd only have found wallowing pity!

So, LL, olive branch offered & hopefully accepted, as is my explanation, hopefully. Would still love to know why you didn't say hello, btw! :D

Paul that's one hell of a first post.... I have a rep as the most controversial poster on here but for that post alone I hand you my crown.

Welcome to the board. Are you going to introduce yourself...
