    I was thinking along those lines too. I thought if any player could hold his own in any company it would be Morgan. So they put him on the bench and are 3-0 down. This is the result of the nothing that he apparently does when he is playing. :)

    It's as if LVG, for some strange reason, doesn't trust Morgan in the big games. Morgan was a regular starter for them until he was suddenly benched for their game against Liverpool. Carrick & Bastian started. Morgan then regains his place, until today.

    But there's two key differences between then and now. Firstly, that was at home this is away. Secondly, in no way shape or form do Liverpool have the offensive threat (or ability to hold onto ball) that Arsenal have.

    They play City in a few weeks. It'll be interesting if LVG finally selects Morgan for a big game. Surely after today, he has no choice.

    I won't let Spurs ruin my weekend by getting a point [if they do]. I shall see it in the light of two teams wasting a point between them.

    Nobody is terribly good yet this season, are they? Could be a really interesting one (though I think City will get it. De Bruyne is looking an astute signing, and if they keep Aguero fit...)
