That's a stupid one sided view of a vote.
    Go now?
    In a month?
    Keep no matter what?
What about end of season, or Christmas. Etc

But more importantly what happens if it's changed and we start winning again?

Typical you, you've been waiting 18- 20 months to set these up. People even mentioned that you will be setting these up October / November time.

So just out of interest, who would you have to replace?

And to be honest to your question, he got us out of the **** that SoD put us in when it looked like we could be heading to division 4 so I think he will possibly do the same this time as well.

Unbelievable - remember where we were 2 years ago??

That man turned our club around massively - he deserves some loyalty from us when things don't go well

"Hire and Fire" gets us nowhere

I'm not going to vote on this one, I admit to being a bit critical of Cotts on his performance THIS season so far but he is our man, he gets my support and I don't want him going anywhere but I do reserve the right to for a rethink if results don't improve.

Ditto - apart from the fact that I don't do closed questions, it's too early for this kind of stuff and anyway, why should the manager carry the can for the lack of investment.

It's not his role to actually pay for the players however I don't entirely subscribe to the money being the sole difference or Bournemouth would be rock bottom of the Premier League with 0 points but they are not, and with Wilson fit, they probably would have survived so it is not all about that.

It is disappointing that not all of our players have been able to step up to this level ala the 2006/07 promotion squad but I suppose this was always going to be the case bearing in mind where most of the guys came from...

cheap thread, I"ll stick with cotts, unless of course you have a better option who can work under all the constraints they would find at this club.

And we know what your vote was....Cotts must stay, he & his staff will get out of trouble, I have every faith in them....must admit yesterdays second half display was a little worrying.

I am amazed with these comments, those last two homes games were bordering on farcical.
I'm sorry guys don't see him saving us without a major influx of quality players.
Even Flint did not want the captains band when wilbs went off.
Someone has to take responsibility for this season wheather it by SL his management team or cotts.

    I can't vote in this.

I don't know how much of this is Cotts's fault - maybe none?

Well the manager isn't the one paying for the new players is he...?

Loanees aside, we made one major signing in the summer and, it was a good one. Other than that, it appears his hands were tied so we have of make the best of what we have so again, is it the mangers fault that we are not doing so well, in a better league, with pretty much the same players...?

I hate this blame culture. Relative to most, we are just living within our means so why does someone have to be responsible. ...?

Here's an idea, ask SL to step down and walk away, I am sure that would really improve matters... <doh>

No he has to go. We were playing suicide second half. His tactics were the reason we lost. If we'd played the same way as the first half we would of easily won. Mk were ****e and yet we were worse. Their goal was coming for about 45 minutes.

Whenever we play deep in 3-5-2 we get royally ****ed.

Sentiment doesn't get you anywhere in football, especially when they are the ones who are causing the ****.

As you voted go now can you identify your replacement, the quality signings you ascertain are required, any back room replacements your Managerial change would necessitate and how you would finance all of these changes and recruitment?

I think Cotts is doing the best he can with a League 1 squad.
Yes, he makes mistakes, but who doesn't?
The problem is much deeper than the manager.
The wall of silence that traditionally surrounds our club doesn't help settle nerves at times like these.

Cotts's statements are bollocks - but what else can you expect him to say? 'Sorry City fans, your board hasn't given me the players I wanted, so we are left with these inferior bunch......'?
That would hit morale both in the dressing room and on the terraces.

Could have gave us better options to vote for, the poll is basically a get rid vote, I'd stick with him even if we do get relegated even though his tactics are clueless and make no sense.

I do find it funny though whenever a "sack the manager thread" appears every year the culprits can't even answer simple questions like naming replacements to back up getting rid of the current manager.

You do realize a new manager won't solve anything and we'll just get relegated anyway, so it's pointless chopping and changing every year

Don't be stupid Tom, everyone knows if you sack three managers a year you get three new manager bounces giving us safety.
But most probably dopey bollocks wants, Hollowhead, Warnock and more SoD

Or do you think he will believe Brendan Rogers might come here?

If it was SL then he needs to take a hard long look at how he wants to go forward with BCFC not BRISTOL sport or if it was the management team they need sacking and yes I have hard facts that a defender was coming all agreed for one of these to mess it up.
SC I think is a puppet for the the hiarchy and if he is not at fault for the ridiculous pre season and non signings,he is defiantly at fault for the non change of formation to try and stop the rot.
Yesterday second half was self destruct, and he was to blame for that.

Of course it could have been the guy that parted company by mutual consent.

Tom the reason I gave three options are

1,The fact of what is happening now.

2,Another month if it was going too change it should in that time.

3,If fans don't want him gone when no change or difference has happened, then it is likely they will want here here no matter what.
