    Doesn't help when he's pretty much in there on his own though.

    Is there a difference between a player waving an imaginary card to the ref, or players surrounding the ref and can be seen to be pressuring the ref to get the card out?

    To be fair I though Can could maybe have seen red for the push on Barkley or even a second yellow for the overhead kick. So there been plenty of leniency shown by the ref to both sides.

    I didn't think Barkley should of got a yellow for the Can incident but he probably should for kicking the ball away.

    It's the crux of all of our problems. Provides little protection for our defence and can't link with the attack. Been a problem since Alonso, Mascherano left and Gerrard declined.

    Barkley with a clear dive... that's his 3rd yellow card of the game.

    I'm sure Tobes will want him banned for that in the same way he did Suarez as well <ok>
