    Manslaughter rather than actual murder surely

    Yes I agree, though the point is you don't get to say "i didn't mean it" and get away with it, which is what is happening with all the civilian casualties.

    What if police are chasing a gunman, and they open up mowing down 20 civilians in the process in the middle of London, and say it was "collateral damage", tell me who would accept that?

    @UnitedinRed

    Thing is what if you used a grenade instead of a brick? Which equates to bombing a whole hospital to kill alleged nearby militants which is a bog standard excuse.

    Do you think you'd get away with manslaughter? No, you would be done proper because you used weapons that would almost certainly cause deaths of innocent people and that is the same with the bombing, the military knows that there is a high probability of civilian casualties which is the same as knowingly bombing said civilians.

    It's eaxclty the same as trying to blow up one person in a crowd with a grenade and not accepting responsibility when you kill 10 other people along with the guy you were aiming for. It's murder not manslaughter

    Finally at least one source of mainstream media starts reflecting reality. Only took them like 3 years, no good guys since 2012 when the FSA collapsed and was taken over by jihadists yet still received weapons from the US and UK for 2 more years <doh> Those weapons are the only reason there is still a "civil" war in Syria
    Syria’s ‘moderates’ have disappeared... and there are no good guys

    "there are no good guys and bad guys in the Syrian war. The Russians don’t care about the innocents they kill any more than do the Syrian army or Nato. Any movie of the Syrian war should be entitled War Criminals Galore!
    But for heaven’s sake, let’s stop fantasising. A few days ago, a White House spokesman even told us that Russian bombing “drives moderate elements… into the hands of extremists”.

    Who’s writing this fiction? “Moderate elements” indeed…"

    NATO hospital bombing.
    NATO first claimed it was collateral damage. But seeing as that bulshit did not fly because Doctors without borders are not some poor villagers, they are western doctors, DWB challenged every bullshit NATO claim with facts from the ground.
    Now NATO are claiming the bombing was intentional and justified. <doh>

    This hospital was bombed because it was treating any wounded that turned up regardless of which side they were on and NATO and the Afghans didnt like that. Even as DWB literally begged for the bombing to stop over the phone the bombs fell for another 30 minutes. A war crime if ever there was one.
