Was just about to say I like delafeu but nothing he has done has worked today and then he whips in a ball and Everton score.

I've thought Liverpools main strength today has been how well they've defended but that was poor for the goal.

 

Can just shouldn't be back there..

 

At least Lukaku is my captain.

 

Can is not a defender and br is a knob for playing him as one

 

Hardly his ball that caused the damage, suicide defending on our part (again) gifted Everton their goal.

 

Rather have Aguero

 

I wish we had scousers in the team. There is a lack of fight and passion in this derby ...

 

Looking at the state of our defence I reckon Lukaku will get 6.

 

Nothing to do with the delivery...it was terrible, went straight to our player. Problem is that our players are ****e at defending, attempted clearance hit one of ours and dropped fortunately to Lukaku. Good finish, but should never have even had the chance.

Rodgers still can't sort out our mistakes and it's costly.

 

Please take Can out of the defenc! For the love of God!!

 

why is it that after we score does the whole team panic and treat the ball like it's ticking.
Can may not be a defender (though he is for Germany) but as a footballer you should be able to kick a football in the direction you want.

 

I think a draw at half time is probably a fair reflection of the game so far. Liverpool on the whole have defended well but not created enough with there possession, seems the attack isn't quite clicking which is maybe down to a new combo up top with Sturridge back from injury. Ings has looked up for it all day and can looks like he won't last the game.

Everton have been shaky at the back with there defense gifting Ings the space to score and also messing up a couple of times by almost putting the ball on a plate for Liverpool, only to just about recover. They've looked best on the counter with Lukakus strength and some quick moves, but they've messed up consistently with the final ball or decision.

I think Liverpool will need to get another goal and I'd out my money on Ings to get another at some point, otherwise I think Everton may steal it on the break.

 

Well not a bad first half. Lucas has been very good, nearest we have to a Scouser in our team. Sakho has handled Luakakua well, but could do nothing about the goal.

I thought Coutinho has been quite, except for that flick over the top for Milner. Could be because Everton are marking him well or he is a bit off his game.

Studge and Ings have looked OK up front, but Ings should have passed to Studge when the latter was free when we had that break towards the end.

Finally Barkley should be off as he had already done a yellow card foul before he had his tantrum with Can.

 

They're right about Moreno, I missed him being a coward as I was concentrating on Can's **** up.

It wasn't exactly an accurate cross but it worked as Everton scored straight after. I'd been saying nothing he was doing was working and despite the cross not being the best it did lead to a goal so thought I'd give him some credit. It was poor defending from Liverpool though for sure
