    Mackems are saying there's some reports that it might have happened, but nothing fully confirmed yet.

    It would be so ****ing typical though. Leaving right before they play us, and the new manager will give them a burst of confidence and hammer us, and it will kick start their season.

    Their annual attempt to save themselves starts early this year. How can the fans not realise something very very major is wrong at the club beyond the managers they keep sacking?!

    Starting to think you have to have a bad attitude to play for a north-east club as a pre-requisite!

    For the record though, they would have beaten us again with or without dick

    They put far too such emphasis on beating us. They sack a manager every year just for that new manager feel good factor. They're a disgrace. <laugh> Eliis has them all fooled - "Yee hah, another derby win secured, these suckers will ride with me into another summer of low spend"

    Talksport reporting during Everton game that Dickie has gone. Probably means they'll have their 4th new manager against us in the last 4 years. Why couldn't he have stayed?

    We might bring Pardew in just in time for the derby game !, most likely big Sam, but Wenger and Ancellotti could not keep this pile of crap up, put your mortgage on 6 on the trot !, 3 big championship games to look forward to next season, and the good news is we will both win more matches next season.

    We know that there is something major wrong with the club, we know the managers take only a percentage of the blame, thats why a large section of supporters are disappointed he is gone, despite our league position. ****ing hate supporting Sunderland, wish I supported, oh....i dont know, errrrmmmmm.....Rochdale!

    You still have to be playing well to create scoring opportunities. We scored 3 goals against city and Chelsea. It should have been more for e.g. the offside goal from yesterday and numerous other chances in both games. If we play like that against norwich and sunderland we will be ok.

    It's every time. They change their manager and inevitably bring in someone with either a point to prove or an axe to grind against us. This time - Fat Sam rocks up to beat the Toon.
