That's the good thing about rugby. Us English hardly give a toss, so a win is nice, but a loss will hardly affect us. The Welsh absolutely love the game and they're still shyte.

A bit like the English with football.

It's gotta be a pretty sad bloody existence though when your only joy comes from watching another country lose. A country who you can't even remember why you hate.

I will still be cheering for the Scots, Welsh, and Irish though. Cos I'm not a sad little ****.

If England aren't in something I support the home nations.....even Wales playing rugby and that is very hard as I spent 4 years in Cardiff being taunted by the little....darlings.

I did not become emotionally involved watching Oz v England last night so I thoroughly enjoyed watching a very good and entertaining Australian side give everyone watching a lesson in how to play rugby of the highest quality. And I want to give England credit for making the game so entertaining as they could easily have engaged in a game of exchanging kicks as was the pattern in France in 2007.

It's a two way street with the banter lads, just step outside your little England box for once, you'll then see the other side of the coin, chin up, the World cup is far from over, it could still come to the UK..........<cheers>

Don't be so sensitive, It's far less than what we would have got from you girls, matter of fact, I had it rammed down me before the game, by some English mates in the West Country that you were going to stuff us, what with our injuries and your home advantage, must say they didn't take kindly to my text messages after the game, bad losers,"They don't like it up 'em!"............<laugh>

Then I blame your west country mates for our loss, case closed ;) Gloating before a game is never a good plan.

You couldn't even beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. :emoticon-0173-middl And they had 10 men. :1980_boogie_down:

Would we though? I don't think most of us are that bothered about rugby, and it's not like we go on other teams footie threads to lord it when we beat them.
