Oh yeah, he's done well alright. Would be a good appointment but I wouldn't mind some peace and stability personally.

Ivan needs to be, as well as fabregas, two defensive mid-fielders in, shut up shop, get confidence back.

The word was "benched" :) , was ivan losing the ball up field led to first goal. International break, is good, time to clear the rubbish out of heads. IVAN NEEDS TO BE DROPPPED!

I think there are a few other things that need to be sorted but yeah, Ivan does need to be benched. Along with about 6 others. :emoticon-0101-sadsm

Some Chelsea fans saw this coming. The very affable and reasonable Chelsea Pensioner is one of them.

Previously I said we need to get a manager who puts the team ahead of his ego. Some interpreted this as wanting Jose sacked, and that's fair enough, I can see why. Today Jose acknowledged the size of his ego, but he also spoke honestly about the state of things. I don't think he's "lost" the dressing room, just pissed it off big time with his list of bizarre thoughts and post match interviews, and I wouldn't underestimate his attack on the medicos.
He needs to make a clean break of things, apologise behind closed doors for ALL his words and deeds that might have upset the players. If he's angling for the sack and a pay off, more shame him, though I don't think that's the case.
As for the team, however out of form they are, Ivan and JT do appear to be closer to the end than the beginning.Cahill just doesn't convince on a regular basis and Azpi is playing out of position. But it's Fabrefas that is the biggest problem, he gives us no control, no defence and not enough creativity. His combination with Ramires rarely works, and Oscar is now just a midfield version of Cahill.
We don't have a striker able to play the lone roll apart from Costa who,to me, is just not direct enough, and our obsession with small darting wide front players sees us running in circles around the sidelines. Problem is, we also don"t have great replacements. Zouma has the ability and so does RLC who needs to play more. Baba has to get a run with Ivan benched for a few games.
We are surely at or close to the bottom now, meaning the only way is up, since I'm ruling out sideways. It's just early October. The teams in front will all suffer bad patches. Top 4 is our goal now and getting there ASAP. Over to you Jose.

I agree with most of this but I just wonder how easy it will be for Jose to get everything back as it was, or indeed if he will want to. I don't see Roman putting up with much more, personally.

I honestly think Ivan's form has affected your whole defence and for some reason Terry paid the price.
Fabregas has been poor since November and needs to be benched, Hazard doesn't look fully fit and Matic is needing help in the middle (RLC?).
There is not too much wrong with your team player wise but, there is obviously something wrong behind closed doors (Jose?).

Agreed - it sounded at times as though Jose was baiting Roman. Improvement will be needed in the next two or three games as losing out on a top 4 place will cost the club mega bucks and Roman is not a patient man; expect to see a few training ground meetings in the next few weeks.

Ivan out, ceasar in his place
    terry
    zouma
    baba raham

    mikel rambo

    willian oscar hazard

    costa

The problem is the defence, we need it stable and functioning, you cant build **** on sand. We need to be ultra
defensive, shut up shop, get confidence back, then start spanking teams again.
