I haven't watched it, but have heard goodthings. Is the idea that you have to disappear for a month?

I won't spoil it for you if you haven't seen to the end of the latest episode.

Yeah, I like the two "Brummies" or whatever they are.

Yeah 28 days on the run while the supposed top UK surveillance team chases you. Doubt it's that realistic but entertaining for sure.

Yes. You have £400 max and have to evade capture for 28 days.
Some of them have been so thick..............a couple of girls were using their mobile as a satnav, not realising that their position could be traced through their phone! Others kept phoning home.
As soon as you use a car that the Hunters no of they track you through number plate recognition and as soon as you use a cash point they know where you are.

I think I'd just get out into the county for a month with a tent and supplies.
Trouble is, I'm not sure if they're allowed to just do that, as it would be pretty dull TV.

Have to say that I'd love to have a go!

I think it is pretty realistic actually. They're using ex-special forces and intelligence people to do the hunting.

So no plastic, don't take your phone, keep on the move, stay out of urban areas with huge numbers of CCTV cameras and tell the camera crew to **** off. Actually sounds quite difficult to me, especially if you haven't had time to prepare. You could become an Uber driver, apparently they are invisible to the forces of law and order.
Do they give you the £400 cash? The 28 days is the challenge.

I believe they give you the debit card so you need to find a way to use it without you actually using it.

The key absolutely is to be on the move and to try and waste the chasers' time by laying traps. The Welsh guy who seemed crap has given his card to a family member to use in Leeds while he's off to Scotland. The lads from Walsall are biking along various canals.

I watched about 15 minutes of this and it happened to be the bit with the two girls on a camp-site when one of them phoned home and they were tracked. They should have been toast, but conveniently escaped. So contrived. As you say, though, someone actually disappearing and the spooks standing round scratching their heads would be pretty dull TV.

Another winner! A 'sell' of all the favourites in the group games would have been a big moneymaker.

Scotland could be a good bet with a 15 point start today.

I think the Aussies 63-3 win over Uruguay is the biggest yet - gone are the days when the big 5 or 6 would run in close to or more than 100 points against the minnows, this must be good for the game.

Difficult to spot the motivation in the Scotland game, wherever you finish in the group you will end up facing one of Australia, England or Wales and they won't know the likelihood of which one until after tonight's game, and even then up in the air if England win.

I've bucked my trend and gone for SA with a -15.5 start today. Will probably back Australia before kick-off.

It'll be interesting to see how England take the Aussies on, I fear if the Aussie backs get a bit of freedom they could do some damage. England will want a more physical confrontation, it's a very fine line as to which way it will go. Lancaster opted for the pragmatic approach against Wales and it cost us dearly, I hope he's braver this time...

I thought Georgia were excellent last night and the last 2 scores for NZ were a bit harsh as it gave the scoreline a rather unflattering gloss to what was a close, hard tackling contest. The Georgians showed a lot of the other sides that if you front up to the All Blacks and hit them hard they can make mistakes, mind once the AB's cut lose they are formidable......

As for tonight it's far to close to call......should be an enthralling game.

England will certainly need to be physically confrontational around the breakdown, as the Aussies are brilliant in that area, which gives quick ball to their dangerous backs.
England are best when they play quick ball themselves and unleash their own very, very good backs. As you say, Lancaster abandoned that approach against Wales and he now needs to show some balls.

Too close to call, but I fear that the pressure will get to England.

Samoa 0 Japan 13, beginning to feel Scotland were very lucky to play Japan only 5 days after their heroics against SA. There is a scenario where Japan win 3 out of 4 and still don't get through, which seems a bit unfair.

Another try on the stroke of half time, 20-0, outstanding.

23-0, two more tries for the bonus point......

Final score Japan 26 Samoa 5, another great performance by the Japanese, great set piece and discipline, unlike Samoa who had no control. Failure to get the bonus points may hurt them, can't see Scotland losing to samoa, but as they have just pointed out on the telly, SA could be in trouble if Scotland beat them.....

    Springboks all over the Jocks.

Very one sided game, apart from a breakaway try Scotland haven't got anywhere near. Plus one of them took a dive and got a real bollocking from the ref. Boks are warming up......
