It's funny how the media are asking tough questions to the likes of Wenger and Mourinho, but Rodgers gets such an easy ride from the press.

Frank De Boer has thrown his hat into the ring by saying he wants to manage in the Prem, but wants to be at a club where the fans are fantastic and mentions Newcastle and Liverpool. Bit of a backhanded compliment really. Glad he rates LFC fans, but then comparing us with Newcastle, whose trophy cabinet is somewhat bare, suggests we have fallen down the pecking order a bit.

Thereagain we are rated the 42nd best team in Europe by UEFA.

Have we dropped since last night, the commentator on BT Sport said we were 42nd! I know we are on a downward spiral with Rodgers, but never realised we were sinking so fast. I will be wearing a lifebelt whilst watching the Derby!!!!

if we get played off the park and beaten easily by 2 or 3 clear goals then I can't see him surviving.

Who we end up with will depend on whether the "transfer committee" remain. Not many good managers, if any, will want to come to us if they remain in place.

It's like Hodgson all over again. LFC fans wishing a loss to remove manager.

Odds of Premiership manager getting the sack:

    Dick Advocaat 2/11
    Brendan Rodgers 11/4
    Steve McClaren 18/1
    Tim Sherwood 23/1
    Jose Mourinho 27/1
    Tony Pullis 28/1

  14. McClaren and Mourinho are with a punt (assuming it's first to leave their club rather than the actual sack)

I don't think Rodgers will get the sack personally.
I can see him walking off in shame though....
