Sunderland head coach Dick Advocaat: "I always think in facts and the fact is it is now Friday and I am the manager of Sunderland, and I am the manager of Sunderland tomorrow as well. "What will happen on Sunday or a week on Sunday or nine months after Sunday, then I will tell you real story, but now I'm still here and nothing has changed. "I told you that when I feel it's the time to do something then I will do that, and today is not the time to do something."
Billy, do you remember when your mam used to cut the daily paper into squares and put a bit of string through them and hang them up in the outside nettie so you had something to wipe your arse on, I think it's time we got back to those days and the Daily Mirror/Daily Mail would be a good start.
There is no way I am risking an anal infection by using the mirror/sun/times/mail to clean my chocolate starfish
Just read this and the full text on Sky Sports News and I have to say his words do not fill me with confidence that he'll still be manager if things go badly tomorrow. I've never wanted a win more than tomorrow, because we simply can't lose DA.
Izal - we had that at school. Was terrified of needing a s h I t. And they talk about f u c k I n g human rights today. The b a s t a r d s!!!! Xx Bart
Just watched the Sky press interview which is compulsory under the Sky agreement and that boring Jock reporter was labouring the point so it's no wonder DA got annoyed. He's Dutch FFS and what you hear is what you get. Wenger labels the press as boring for their pursuit of the boring tag they want to attach to Arsenal, now he is losing the plot according to their interpretation. They can print their lies and half truths for god know whose gratification but it is certainly not for real people.
But how do you fight back against the 'press'. Walking out just has them making false rumours, staying and joking has them speculating......... I don't know anymore. They are a bunch of pricks that love a reaction because that makes headlines. A bunch of poo sharks; arseholes producing ****, and spreading ****, which creates a tide of **** that, if believed, gets what they want........a reaction. Fek em, KTF, DA best of luck and do your best that's all we ask........players........do the FEKIN same, do your best and raise a finger to the press! Arseholes hate being fingered.............mostly
Well clubs, us included are devoting much more features to their own media departments and locking the press out, thus far the press have reacted by moaning on twitter and behaving like petulant kids which it's making it worse for themselves and pushing clubs further away. More and more bullshit is being printed despite gaining less and less access. It's down to the public to pick up on this and turn their back. I personally I copy and paste an article when sharing on here instead of posting a link with the sole intention of limiting website hits for the ****s.
Agree...........,.,WTF am I still doing up at this time of the morning, ......as if anything I say makes the slightest difference to anything. Best go to bed
My thoughts as well mate, but to answer the Op i'd be gutted TBH. We need to stabilise the club and shipping managers out the way we do isn't a very good image to portray. We may as well put an ad out "Come manage SAFC, you've got 6 months to perform or you're out" He was probably just pissed off at answering stupid questions mate.
We don't use that ****ter toilet paper here in Oz mate, we use toilet paper for MEN . . please log in to view this image
Taken from football gossip website...... Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat has already decided to quit after today’s game with West Ham United, regardless of the result. Advocaat is reported to have told his backroom staff he is going. Former Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson is favourite to take over. Burnley boss Sean Dyche and former West Ham boss Sam Allardyce are also contenders. There are so many rumours going round now that I'm starting to think there is something in this. I for one will be gutted if he goes :-(
It's all just paper talk mate, take no notice. Of the three names mentioned for me it as a NO, NO, NO, although the pick of the bunch would be big Sam. Don't like his style of play but he would certainly steady the ship and whip the players into shape as well. Still a big no from me though.
