I know bits n bobs mate. I got a iphone a few months ago from work and because i don't know how to receive my works e-mails on it, I go undisturbed. There's method in my madness
Cheers for that,SuperS. Put it on laptop and Amazon Firestick. Able to get great picture via Firestick on 42" TV which is H.D quality on quite a few stations. Only niggle is on Firestick it keeps going to 4:3 race io and I have to readjust but that is not much of a problem.
Installing my firestick now. Going with the beast so I can move the PC back upstairs, (I've been teaching myself to code so kinda need it haha). Will pop back once all set up and running. You can't even see my device as its hidden behind the TV which is cool. Also, for ratios, you should be able to change via settings on firestick.
This explains it. There are loads of articles as well if you google how to install Kofi on to Firestick. But this video tells you all you need to know. Any problems and someone on here will be able to help. I managed with no problem and I am an oldie. Once it is installed just follow Superspes' video to install the beast.
Done without issue. Just waiting for it to download and i managed to have my tea while doing it. Anyone with kodi basic set up who pays for it.... Go to settings, file manager. Add source and type Http://spartanpixel.net/repo. Name whatever you want, repo is default Press back, go to install from zip Select whatever you named the file, select wizard, either one worked for me as Spartan build is nice too. Wait til it pops up on bottom right. Go to programs, add program, select file, choose 'the beast' or 'spartan' Wait. Sorted. Its that easy. The address up top is your source for it all.
Have to do it again. When prompted to force close after installing the beast, I clicked OK then yes...... Didn't work. So now re downloading and installing and now know I have to unplug the fire stick.
Just watching stuff through it now in HD. The amount of things available through The Beast download is amazing. Did you get it installed OK?
Somebody who moans about getting something for free not being as good as a paid service calls someone a bellend. Priceless. If you want a perfect picture pay for it you tight twat.
The reality is you can't. Sky can't give you full hd, most high def games are not true HD? Bbchd is 720p max. Sky's is 1080i as is virgins. Bluray is about the only way to get true hd really, and you aloud be made to pay those prices when a perfectly good 1.5gb gift link will do just fine. 40 years ago you got about 4 pixels and a frame rate of 1 frame a week.
Yes, but the picture from SKY HD is excellent for me on my plasma TV. In fact I am not keen on the 4K ones I have seen in shops. The picture is too sharp and doesn't look natural to me. It does make me laugh when people can access a free broadcast courtesy of someone else's efforts and then moan the picture is not as good as the one which you pay a fortune for every month.
I really wish I could understand all this gibberish I've sacked Sky off, on principle really, but just replaced with Freeview and Netflix 4k I'm very happy with it to be honest, but obviously it's missing sports Hey ho, I often didn't watch it anyway
Yes the picture is fine. I wanna know its a TV after all. I've been fully set up for quite a while now and enjoying it. Computer back upstairs so doubles up as a TV in the bedroom basically. For the savings I have made, o will be saving a fortune. With little one on the way its very welcomed.
Its really easy of you can spare a few hours one day. And worth the effort, the content available trumps Netflix 100x over. Otherwise, people will sell a pre programmed one for around 55-70quid. For the price and savings on sky, even that's worth it.
I don't understand the legality of it all. Watching streams is legal but one person (who presumably is raking it in with these "gifts") is uploading illegally?
They use a loop hole by calling them donations and the add ons are for educational purposes. The ones holding the actual video and audio files are breaking some laws.... Depending on where they may virtually be.
