His record speaks for itself but you're not wrong. Andre Ward is another one that's like watching paint dry.
You're right he is dull. Great at winning though. I made a post earlier that was saying Wlad really is underrated - he would have been a tough match for many of the past greats. The main issue with boxing these days is that the best fighters don't want to fight each other. Years a go boxers would take on anyone - the Mayweather vs Paq fight should have happened 5 years a go. No one wants to fight Golovkin, Kovalev, Rigondeaux, Lomachenko, etc. All you get is A* fighters againts B and C level, B* against C and D level. Where is Ward vs Kovalev? Where is Rigondeaux vs Lomachenko or Frampton, where is Golovkin vs anyone decent? Rant over. I'll go back to watching tapes of Roberto Duran.
I agree that Floyd's record speaks for itself, but I find it hard to get behind someone who took his tactic from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. please log in to view this image

SJA withdraws invitation to awards to Tyson Fury The Sports Journalists’ Association, organisers of the British Sports Awards in London on December 17, has withdrawn its invitation to Tyson Fury, the world heavyweight champion, to attend the event. http://www.sportsjournalists.co.uk/awards-news/sja-withdraws-invitation-to-awards-to-tyson-fury/
He's issued a statement... Rutherford said: "I have been in discussions with the BBC regarding my involvement with SPOTY after hearing what I believe to be very out-dated and derogatory comments from a fellow SPOTY nominee. "Everybody has the right to freedom of speech, which is something that we as a society have struggled with and fought for generations to get to where we are now but by the nature of these comments, undermine the struggles that we have been through. "As such, I wanted to speak with the BBC about sharing a stage with somebody that had views that are so strongly against my own. "After doing so, I can confirm that reports that I am withdrawing from the ceremony are not true. The BBC have been hugely supportive in hearing my own views and I am hugely honoured and privileged to be included on the shortlist for such a prestigious event alongside so many remarkable sporting personalities, majority of whom I will proudly say to my son and I had the chance to meet."
He was only stripped because he couldn't face the mandatory challenger due to his contractual rematch requirement with Klitschko. Hardly a big deal and if anything it doesn't reflect well on the IBF who look like a bunch of ****ing amateurs.
Just had a look at the beeb link, could someone with a bit of boxing knowledge tell me why he's holding four belts in the pic?
Belts don't matter anymore anyway - only fights do. He could be stripped of all the belts and he'd still be the lineal champion. IBF is the worst of the lot - corrupt bastards.
