Well technically we are, we built the team around Studge Suares and Sterling. We lost all three in the last two seasons and only have Studge back.

The rebuild last season went.. well we know how it went, we have now lost Gerrard and brought in another bunch of players.

We are rebuilding again, and that is where my biggest disappointment is with RodgePodge.. his transfers and this whole committe crap. No ****ing need of it, he's manager he says I want they say yay or nay, ****ing simples

Way things are going, if we do a 7th or 8th and no silverwear he's a def gonner. He needs to bare minimum push to the end for 4th and win cup.

If we flop in the PL and he wins the EL, he is still gone.

So I think either way you'll have your wish at the end of the season

 

I really hope he plays that system on Sunday. Martinez must have been watching that with a semi on tonight.

I've said this many a time, if you play 3 CBs you need to keep the ball and not lose it in around the DM position in your own half.
That's exactly what Clyne did, it wasn't Gomez fault, we had the ball with no pressure on it. Clyne pulled out his 8 iron instead of his 2 iron

 

Rodgers has rebuilt more than we did after the blitz ... Busted flush -taxi required ...

 

Only difference is, Studge will be playing. However, I'm expecting him to be poor too. Every time he's returned from a long lay off he's hit the ground running for one or two games before being anonymous for the next half a dozen. almost like a delayed reaction to the need of match fitness.

 

3 at the back is not much use if you are not good at retaining the ball and its a formation you really do need the right players and style for, like the Dutch with their sexy football, they could play 3 at the back and do it well.

We also seem to have some ball watchers, Moreno is a ball watching lapsing melt

 

I've already said the same re: Sturridge, him playing gives you a chance. Without him I'd be extremely confident.

@BringBackFootie. makes a great point about possession and how you can't concede it in the wing back area in that system. Shame Baines and Coleman are out ffs

 

I wouldn't worry too much....you could have Laurel and Hardy playing and you could rip us apart The irony is if you thrash us you may well be doing us a favour in the long run (and it really pains me to say that)

 

It doesn't matter who plays Sunday the same problems will plague us ... can't score more than the mandatory 1, can't ****ing defend. It's all well and good creating lots from midfield and the flanks and all that but these strikers and defenders are clearly not being coached effectively as they've no idea what they're doing, that's where the meat of it is, got to defend well, got to score often, it's doesn't require ****ing NASA levels of intellect to get that right

 

Some bell end LFC fan was on talkshite earlier saying he'd take a 25-0 loss if it meant rodgers deffo went straight after ... what a knobrash

Derbies seldom turn out like that mate, bitter experience tells me that it's often the converse of the form predictions that wins the day.

That said, I think he'll be sacked if we give you a dicking

 

Last weekend would suggest one particular player playing solves that issue
