    Hi Guys,

was thinking about doing stoptober to finally get off the cigarettes(Obviously to pursue my football career at age 45), but am thinking E-Cigarettes might be a better option.

Have any of you guys tried them?

I stumbled across this video recently and it's kind of persuaded me to give it a go.(it's also pretty funny)

The kits in this video look good can anyone recommend me which is best to start with.

    Thanks

I used to smoke about a decade ago, and the gum helped me to quit. Now I'm a reformed health and fitness fanatic. I think twice about even eating fast food these days.

I found the gum was best for me as you get into the habit of having something. i suppose the E Cigarette is similar so is probably worth trying.

It is tough to quit, but after a few weeks of going cold turkey it does get easier, the first 3 weeks are pretty tough though. You just need to tough them out.

You need to also make sure cigarettes aren't easily available to you, if your partner smokes for example and there in the house then it makes quiting almost impossible, especially when they're sparking up infront of you.

It is definately worth putting in the effort to quit though, within a few weeks you'll feel about 10 years younger, as your not pumping your body full of harmful toxins all day.

Your probably at a decent age to quit, as your not to old for the damage to be unrepairable. Alot of people quit when there like 60, as it's literally that or die, but by that time it's usually to little to late:biggrin:

Quitting anything is strictly for queers and *****s. Real men see things through right to the end, regardless of the outcome.

Only true mincers would stop smoking.
