I would not have picked Farrell but fair play to the lad he kicked his penalties and made a couple of great tackles. But he lacks flair to help score tries when we were on top. But the architect if the loss is Lancaster..wrong squad see above as to whom should have been included and wrong team selection tonight.
Farrell had a great game at fly half and then at inside centre. His kicking was superb and his distribution with ball in hand great. Deserved his spot and proved his worth.

We threw away a 10 point lead mate. Doesn't matter how good you were (And in that second half you were) you shouldn't have been given a sniff. You more than deserved your victory but you were allowed back into a game that should have been closed out. If that bothers you I don't know what to tell you. Maybe you should try retiring from two way conversations.
We made you throw away your 10 point lead, We forced you to make errors and that was superb tactics by us.......we knew how to win and England bottled it at a crucial time...
This will be a great weekend with Sunderland getting their first victory of the season followed by England beating Australia in the rugby. And for the cream on top of the cake I'm off this weekend and the fabulous Rabble Rousers are on at the Golden Fleece in Silksworth... Happy Days..
Odd that considering we were leading for 75 out of the 80 minutes. Easy to blame him but had we not folded and the Welsh not capitalised he'd be a hero. He couldn't control it. The players didn't do enough to keep the lead.
Have to say that I thought we were hard done by when the ref gave Wales a penalty for not retreating when in reality he was prevented from doing so by the Welsh player lying on top of him. This got Wales right back in the game at a time when England looked comfortable.
I have a ticket for Eng v Aus on Saturday. Means I'll have to forego the pleasure of another twatting at the SoL, but there it is.....
Yeah but you get what you're given. Neil Back used to win us penalties for that sort of **** all of the time. Against Wales at home you need to be good enough to bet them regardless of one iffy penalty.
