Finally managed to set aside a couple of hours to update the league following the last 4 matches. I'm not sure who we are going to predict as our goal scorer for the next 4 weeks seeing as Charlie is injured and he has been the default setting as goalscorer so far......this is where the crystal ball comes into play. Over the last few weeks Wubba has been making steady progress to hit the front, must have something to do with the short trip home and the thought of some proper ale and cheese that got the grey cells working...... 4 of the Irish based posters are lurking in the top 11 places although probably more by luck than judgement speaking for myself...... Stan is going to have to think of another scorer of own goals seeing how his favourite player Mackie is now out injured for 3 months......... This season is very hard to predict (for me at least) as it is so unpredictable. So congratualations to the leaders - I don't know how you do it!
I'm thinking my current table standing / position may just reflect our team's overall performance for the season. ( about three quarters down the board ) ....... so I'm ok with that.
My recent form can be traced back in direct correlation with all the bars closing here for Eid. Now that overpriced alcohol is readily available i fully expect to sink back to the safe haven that is mid table obscurity Cheers!
