Lets make it clear. By some miracle Hcst takes over the club in the summer. Happy declares on here he will be giving up his season pass and will not be going to home games ever again as he thinks the new board are all devious lying ****s and he wont be giving them any of his hard earned. First game of the season he says he's going as he has been given a free ticket!!! What will Olms and plts reply be to him? Discuss
I'd probably just post a sarcastic 'thanks for your support' message, it wouldn't warrant anything more significant.
Just out of curiosity, doesn't the away team get gate money as well? If this is the case then technically he is giving money to the Allams, even indirectly! Also what about food, drinks, programmes, replica shirts?
I believe the away team only get 5% of the gate money, so it's rather here nor there and he's obviously not buying food, drinks, programmes and replica shirts if he's not there.
5% is still something however irrelevant, also he was there for the League Cup game which is why asked about the extras!
I obviously aren't gonna buy any of that. They don't sell anything without that revolting badge on. I wouldn't buy food or drink in the ground anyway at stadium prices. I didn't realise away teams got 5% of ticket sales though. What a strange rule.
Not really, why should the home team get all when the away team brings their fans, in the cups the away team gets a bigger portion if memory serves!
I just think 5% is a strange amount. Given that everyone players home and away the same number of times, I can't see the point in it at all. The cup thing contributes to the 'magic' of the cup. Eg if a non-league side gets an away game at Man U. They get more out of it than just the experience.
