Benny should have sorted out another striker before now.
It just had to happen that Austin would get injured.
This striker problem has been going on for 4 years now and about time they sorted it.
Do these people actually know how to run a football club? FFS if all the fans know what is needed surely they may get the hint?
Leon Worst is cr2p and if he comes in then Benny is more of a Benny then i thought.
Plenty of good strikers around not playing that would do a job.

It could be a loan, but would we agree to pay a loanees salary? I think Anichebe would be to expensive for us!
Terry we have just received £60M for finishing last in the Prem, £20M from Stirling and cut a big part of the wage bill. Why can't we afford him?
er, because we owe our 'owners' over £300m (perhaps they are taking some of it back now), and still have an as yet unspecified FFP fine to pay, and are attempting to run the club, it seems, on a break even basis. Which means there must be a much reduced pot for salaries. In that context the failure to sell Austin, Green, Phillips and Fer over the summer was bad business. It only becomes good business if we are promoted.
So he needs another striker but if he brings in the striker who we may or may not be looking to get then he's clueless. Who are these good strikers we could bring in at the drop of a hat?

Apart from the reply from Stan, it may not be good for morale if we loaned a player who we then paid twice as much as those we signed in the summer.
The question may be whether the club would choose to afford those wages rather than that they could do so. I susepct that the answer tio that would be NO.
Hence, why we didn't open negoiations with players who had reached the end of their contracts (Barton, Dunne etc). We will not pay more than Championship wages to newcomers while we are in this division & those that are being payed more will be out of the club as soon as we can get rid of them.
If Polter is fit, I would change things around and play him with Grego-Cox in a 4-4-2.

The club do have money and desperately want to get promoted. If you think different you need to read reports on Tony and listen to what he and others have said.
Agree we are trying to build foundations where we don't pay over the odds, (been there got T shirt), however if we want to get back up we need a replacement for Austin and if that means paying more, hopefully they will.

If we don't go up we will lose Austin/Fer/Phillips on the cheap which does not make sense. The reason they kept them was because they want an instant return. Staying in this division means less money and they don't want that.
Tony has a problem because he tried Hughes/Redknapp and it didn't work. He then goes down the other route (Ramsey) and it's not working.
Yes we all want stability and yes we all want QPR to do well but at this time we cannot have both. Come back to this in a few weeks if we are losing and not scoring and heading down, lets see how many of you support Ramsey.
As for strikers, there are plenty out there but agree Ramsey will probably stick with what he has. It's his team and he has built most of it and it will be him that has to answer if all goes wrong.
