    That's not bad news imo. For me it should be the top 2 teams anyway.

    It's hardly like the PL teams need the money now!!

    You're right that the PL teams don't need the money but if we only have three CL places and the same three qualify each year then the PL becomes even less competitive doesn't it? Remember that each country gets a set initial amount for CL entry too, this is currently split four ways as we have four entries, if we only get three places not only are there less teams getting money but those three will be getting more too.

    Edit: scrap that, looks like it changed this year...

    Bt sport will be in meltdown after paying **** loads for the rights only for 1 of the English teams to drop out as well

    They also have the rights to the EL. If Italy take the fourth CL spot off us, well get a additional EL spot from them

    BT also show all the games, not just the English ones. Same applies though, viewing figures will still drop.
