I agree with you which is why I am very angry. We as a club have lowered our standards where the main goal is securing top 4 and if we can a cup along the way.

Better than what has happened to many top clubs historically though.

We have never been relegated. Look at forest, Leeds and other historical giants.

We 'compete' at the top level every year. Look at every other club...

Yes it's **** right now, but I'd rather be us than any of the other dross. The only teams that can be as proud as us of their clubs are arguably man ure and Liverpool.

Think of how lucky we are having seen over the last 30 years the change in our club and the success. You could have grown up a spud and seen **** all, or Liverpool fan, used to success, but watching the decline of the most successful English club. Or forest or villa, European giants.

    We are spoilt.

But that does not excuse tonight and our upset.

Yeah, but not longer than that though even though your memory is probably on its way out.

Wenger: "It's not because of not playing Cech that we lost the game. It's a farce. I know many things you don't know.

"I don't have to tell why you I picked Ospina. I do not have to give an explanation."

    Basically :emoticon-0172-mooni

Yes, it's been 10 years. Well done smarty. Show me any other club that hasn't gone longer than 18 years between league wins...

Oh and we've had back to back fa cup wins. Name me more than 2 other sides that have done that.

That's effectively what your board and numerous managers have done to you guys since 1961.

The success or lack thereof is not the issue. Not that I can tell anyway. It's the complete and utter lack of drive from Wenger. There's no tactical improvement. There's no intelligent drive to improve. He either doesn't care or just isn't able to do it anymore. Pick either answer... they both result in the same thing --> that he's not fit to manage us anymore and hasn't been for a long time. Unfortunately there's still enough myopic Wengerites (both on the board and within the fans) as well as many within the club who seem to only care about money, that he has enough support to drag his stay out for what seems like forever.

Cech did apparently have a minor calf strain - Wenger mentioned this earlier today.
So the inclusion of Ospina was justified.

We had no shape today, Even the reliable Coquelin and Bellerin seemed out of sorts.
It was the kind of game we could have used Wilshere - someone to carry the ball forward through a tight midfield.

    Blackburn, Newcastle, Chelsea.

But only 2 teams have done it twice: Yourselves and the mighty Spurs <ok>

So, you have a team of fantastic players (if I read this board right), at weekend they went ballistic and scored 5 goals. Was Wenger responsible for the tactics and drive then?
what did he do different tonight (apart from the keeper) against a team who are not known as giant killers?

So why did he put a not fully fit keeper on the bench? What would have happened if Ospina got sent off or injured and then Cech came and also got injured? Wenger is an utter moron.

Arsenal had George Graham, who win 2 titles in 8 seasons .. AW shortly managed and win 3 in 18 seasons.. do you think that is a progress?

I have no idea. I just know he mentioned Cech having a small injury earlier today.
