assuming for one second that he hasn't done anything wrong (directly himself), he's still presided over the whole debacle, he's therefore accountable and responsible and should have fallen on his sword months ago! As long as he is there the main sponsors will hold back, hence more damage to FIFA's already tarnished reputation. Absolute joke!
that's OK then, I couldn't sleep worrying that football would slip into turmoil, this is what we need - stability and assurance. We all need to get behind Sep for the good of the game
FIFA have just banned Jack Warner for life, I assumed they'd have done it months ago. please log in to view this image
Wonder if this is an half arse's attempt to try and derail the FBI investigation, by banning him in such a public manner, Warner can now turn around and say its impossible for him to get a fair trial, as he's already been found guilty by FIFA of misconduct and banned for life, I say this because you don't usually get the results of internal investigation until the criminal investigation and any court case is concluded
Amazing to think our own FA were 'looking after' Warner in the hope of gaining his vote at the last World Cup vote!
It'l be interesting to see who Warner 'implicates' in order to lessen his own exposure to the ensuing legal process
Have the FBI actually got hold of any of the ones they had arrested, or are they still awaiting extradition? Didn't they infer, that most of the squealing and deal brokering would be done once the accused are actually on US soil?
Not surprised, hence Blatters no show at the women's world cup finals in Canada recently. The only time he's apparently missed presenting a major trophy.
The only trouble with that ElTigre is that I've just seen that Switzerland has an extradition agreement with the USA. Where did you hear it?
