Was Rotherham really that bad? I thought it very typical QPR to nearly throw away a three goal lead. However there were six goals and we won 4-2. It wasn't that bad.
So if Green, phillips,Austin,Yun,Hill,Sandro,Diakite,Hoilet,Traore,Faurlin,Fer,Onuoha are average in this poor division what makes an above average team? Because these and others i have not mentioned have played in the premiership. Charlie scored 18 prem goals and Phillips had many assists, how is that average Championship quality? It goes down to management. Once again talking utter rubbish. Pass me the ski's!
After ten games that is bit premature! Probably best to give him a season before writing the guy off. This is the Championship and no team is going to win every game, with great performances every week. Out of those ten games we won three on the trot and were "joint" second at one time. Ups and downs, we'll be fine and pretty sure of it with CR. A bit of patience is needed that's all.
Most of these players as you know well struggled in the PL. We were bottom of it remember? Only Austin is likely to go back there as more than a squad filler or reserve GK, Fer if he stays fit, and Phillips if he gets his finger out may go back. 3 or 4 players don't make a team or a squad. The remains of the fit enough from last season''s bottom of the League team has been built up with players of some promise from League 1 and similar, not the PL or even the Championship, and you only got to take a look at what others Championship Clubs have been doing this summer and had from before to see we aren't more than at best a middle of the table squad on paper. You'd probably fall straight off the skis and the surf board lying on your living room floor on this form!
Cannot really argue with that too much However i still think we should be playing better with the players we have.
any excuse to have a pop about CR. A couple of wins and guaranteed he'll be the man again. Oh the fickle football fan, don't you just love them? No.
Agree but the worst of all are the ones who think that they are some high and mighty experts but are really muppets who will turn on him when things go really bad. Me, i fall in neither category as i have said from day one that he is not good enough. I hope i am proved wrong but if not i will wait to see others future comments
On paper, we should be top 6. Most commentators would agree with that, I think. CR is at a crucial point in his managerial career. He has to prove himself now over the next, perhaps, 3 or 4 games. Austin off is a blow but CR must adapt. We'll need goals from midfield. I hope CR makes a fist of it, but I'm not confident. First test, Saturday
Strange goings on at Brentford, they probably blamed him for the state of the pitch as well......It'll just be our luck that the New Manager Syndrome will kick in just as they play us.......be afraid, be very afraid.....
We need a striker in on loan sharpish as what few we've got are crocked or crap, otherwise we'll be in a relegation battle, all this best squad in the league talk is just that, talk...
Agree Goldhawk we should be top six however we seem to have a few fans who think that our team should only be fighting relegation and would be happy with 20th. It also appears that we have a few who won't hear a bad word about CR. Sorry but seen too many QPR teams and managers over the years and i know when we should be doing better.
I've given up on our defence, if we tried to 'park the bus' with our luck we'd run over the keeper...
The so called expert commentators on Sky Friday night certainly didn't see us as top 6, though they thought Fulham would be if they continued like that. It looks like we will need to spend a lot more money than we looked to have available in the summer, plus keep the best we have, to have any chance of top 6 now. Hope we can strengthen both defense, and with a striker even if Austin, Fer and Phillips stay.
