Turning Japanese (I really think so!) I worry the suprise element of Japan may have worn off, and as a newly naturalised Jap, I have to say these are the sort of games we need to be winning if we are going to progress (ands Mr Shabby is to reward his charities).

Their scouting network is better than ours.

To be fair, Scotland were excellent in the second half, it would have been so easy just to let them score in injury time, just so the game was over. The whole game, Scotland were superb defensively

Looking forward to Eddie Jones' interview. "We'll run the legs off them in the second half". I was remembering my days as a member of Ally's Army beforehand, and so it proved.

Scots were very good defensively. When that Japan player went off at 12-10 I thought we were in trouble and the Scots just pummelled them. We will learn, and come back stronger.

I didn't realise until just now that you get a point by losing a game by fewer than 8 points. A point for losing FFS!!!!

If Charlton got that, they'd be top of the league!

Sometimes it's worth listening to the elderly <ok> A habit that is sadly being ignored by society :(

It's pains me to say my team, Wales, are doing well.

Dare I ask how Georgia are doing? Has anyone been able to score a try against us yet?

Started well with a win over Tonga but then got tonked 54-9 by Argentina in their second match.

Could still finish 3rd and squeak a knockout place.

No third placed team goes through to the knockout phase, so I would have to disagree.

    That's a ruddy good point, M. :)

I should have said 3rd place will secure an automatic place at the next World Cup, thus giving Georgia a chance to win that tournament. But I didn't say that, did I? No.

    Nerk. :(
