Seeing how things really are is irrelevant to this discussion though I know you do love a good chinwag about me given your unhealthy obsession, I would venture I am more mentally balanced than you mate.

This describes those I disagree with, you included, the masses totally ignorant of history and realpolitik and the real way things work behind government.
I also find it that there is real resistance to seeing the world the way it really is. WHy?

Well seeing it for what it really is means one is obliged to act, something ye are not willing to contemplate. So denial and head in the sand are a plenty, becaues if it is not real then you don't have to deal with. That is the root cause of most of the will of people to out and out resist seeing things how they really are. Ignorance is blisss, and it fits in with not giving a **** about anything beyond the end of your own nose.

An example are those that condemn protestors as "annoying" or wasting their time", the truth should most admit it is that they really feel inadequate because they fail to act on what they beleive and just complain, so rather than face this truth they delude themselves into beliving the protestors are "wrong or are acting in a fruitless manner, obviously the truth is protests don't work cos there are not enough people involved for a sustained amount of time.

Denial is epic in today's modern world. Irrational discussion all but at an end in the public sphere.

Yes I have different opinions on stuff, mostly for reasons of fact and logical assumptions backed by historical norms, and people disagree out of hand without ever looking at the subject.. that is the norm today.

The same people who will deem "conspiracy theorists" crazy because they "do research" and question claims.. will then themselves go online, see a photoshopped picture of a polar bear on a scrap of ice and go ranting on the internet about "polar bears are doomed and how humans are the cause"

The same people who deem theorists "crazy" themselves **** the bed at an unverified single image or read an unverified report.

@terrifictraore I don't know why you keep banging on about 9\11 an Israelis. I haven't discussed any theory that involved Israel carrying out 9\11 you ******. <laugh>

Personally I think becaus edcation is so ****, that most people are not even equipped to see how the world really is, this opinion is backed by the masses that still depend on the media and government for their "facts"

People always seem to "disprove" what I say, and back up, with their long established opinons, not anything offered in the way of solid truth.

Yeah yeah, have you got that clip of cameron yet? I am guessing no and that brings up a couple of questions about why you posted that direct quote, is it

A: You watched the speech and know the quote is untrue but use it because its a good sound bite?
    OR
B: you haven't watched the speech and have just copied it from some website because it fits your lob sided view of the world?

That first sentence proves why discussing anything with you is generally a complete waste of time, as you have elevated your own opinion on seemingly everything, to the level of 'informed' and dismiss those who challenge your views as ignorant.

For all your supposed 'enlightenment' you're very closed minded when it comes to many issues.

A bit more on Ahmed and his "clock" which diverges from the mainstream liberal media take on this.

The cock was not made, it was "according to some electronics engineers" a specific model of retro alarm clock product the kid just took out of it's casing and put into his pencil case.
There was no assignment he just "made" the clock and brought it in.
When the kid brought it to school he was told by the engineering teacher to "not show it to anyone else"
The kid still brought it into the class, and the clock conveniently beebed during class.. this school day was the first day back at school after the 9\11 anniversary.

His Dad has run for Sudanese president twice as part of the NRP in Sudan, a party looking to working with the US to bring oil rich Sudan into the "fold" as it were. Interesting.. <laugh>

more interesting is the offers from MIT and Facebook to him, knowing damn well he did not make that alarm clock

The media seems to have missed out on all of this "relevant" info

You keep bringing it up. Why? Discussing other topics, you randomly being up 9\11 or some other ****e in lieu of a good argument.

Every assertion you've made on anything you've not backed up with anything, yet you cry for "proof" on every tiny little minute thing I post, which is why I mostly ignore your posts unless I have time that is absolutely free, which is not that often, so I am indulging your nonsense today. <ok>

Strangely, no one else is subjected to your rigorous cross examinations, they are free to post anything (opinion or fact) they like without you jumping all over it. <whistle>

In case TT you didn't realise it, what I said about Cameron had nothing to do with 9\11 or the Israelis. <doh>

It was about silencing dissent and establishing a one view narrative of the world and any opinion that differs is classed as "extremist" which is a trick of language, extremist doesn't mean anything bad, it means an position diametrically opposed to one's relative position on something.

Currently the narrative being pushed is an attack on the English language, "extremist" does not mean terror, or violence, or anything negative.
Yet this is what we are being brainwahsed with, the word evokes fear and thought of violence.

The meaning of the word has been changed. It's bollocks.

The bottom line, any one with a world view that is very different from the one the state and media push is "evil" and "dangerous".

It is literally right out of 1984 and other such dystopian works.

The fact people fail to see this is not my problem, yet I get slated for actually seeing what is going on.

Rather than deal with this people prefer to not complicate their lives, fair enough, but don't let the apathy delude one into criticising others who see things for how they are

You can dodge all you want but everyone can see it as it is.

BTW I have already told you to ask those questions on the relevant threads so we can see it in context, no quote mining ( or inventing) allowed here.

"enlightment"? Who's enlightened? starting to sound like TT. You'll also notice I don't bring the animosity and insults to debate you do, and obviously it goes down hill from there and no one lsitens to the other after that ****e starts

    "Very closed minded"

Will you ever go and read what you post ffs, you are as strongly entrenched in opinions on subjects you have no clue about, why is that?
Yoour opinions are your facts in debates, heck the recent afghan dugs thing, I certainly backed my points and opinions, whereas you did not and I bet you still believe your own opinons are closer to the truth.

The Ozone thing, your research culminated in a gif from a NASA site. Your opinion came first then that link supported it, well as far as you were concerned.

The modern troll thinks that researching for 5 minutes entitles you to get into a debate about a subject with people who have studied a subject over years.

My mistake is even discussing some of the thing I do, on a football forum <laugh> I am not talking conspiracy theories here, but other stuff. War Politics Propaganda and other stuff.

You'll notice old BBF doesn't come into your area of better knowledge and tell you what's what, that is football and the whole **** around football, because it is not an area I am versed in. You know your stuff in there and me barging in telling you "you are wrong", would be like you arguing with me over some subject you have not even dabbled in, like say the Afghan war and the poppy harvests for example <whistle>

Also, go check your own constant use of the "absolute" tactic and completely laughable moronic paraphrasing to distort points made <laugh>

Thanks for completely proving my point and contradicting yourself in the process <laugh>

3 emoticons there<whistle>. One of your troll tricks is to start **** and when shiot comes back, you say "oh look you started **** but blame me and are contradicting yourself", you turned the nature of debate between you and I into partisan bullshit a long time ago and continue to jsut show up and start with "you are talking bollocks" or some **** then expect that the rest of what you post will be read.

All part of your troll tool kit, removing comments from the wider context, using absolutes to create false arguments and utterly made up points via paraphrasing

And way too much use of emotis.

I do like the way you slink out of a debate instead of admitting the evidence says your opinion is nonsense. Liek the way you just melted out of the Afghanistan drugs debate the other day. Too much research required? Perfect example of "your opinion" being all the facts you need.

Ahmed the clock bomb kid's Dad.
Sudan presidential contender vows to lift US sanctions in first 100 days if elected
    http://www.sudantribune.com/spip.php?article54000

As more time passes this seems like this was staged by Dad, though for whatever reason I do not know. Given the liberal gushing over this, and the offers from all and sundry to this kid like MIT and Facebook and even Obama chiming in, it stinks a wee bit given everyone knows he didn't even make the clock himself and that the story the media painted of the events was false

my conspiracy senses are tingling <laugh>
