Just a bit of fun this, Was reading the talksport best premier league shirts and thought i'd see what you lot think is our best (home and away) Personally as a newbie fan the best home kit i've had is our current one, and the best away was our dark and light blue inter kit (annoyed i never got one ) My mates go on about the FADS kit alot, but whats your Favourite? (bonus points for pictures )
For me it's got to be the back to The Valley home kit. The one where you could swap any football shirt for a brand new Charlton home one. I pinched my brothers grey 'Candy' Liverpool shirt without him knowing and traded it in for my one... ... He did his nut when he found out. As shirts go it was absolutely awful. No sponsor, a collar that wouldn't have looked out of place on Harry Hill and the material was like a piece of red tracing paper... However, the symbolism attached to it more than makes up for Its abysmal quality Imo.
Not sure on my favourite home one, maybe the centenary one or even the more recent one which we wore in our relegation (to League One) season. Favourite away one has to be the green/purple Viglen kit. Although I did like the season before lasts Blue and Black away kit.
The 'Fads' shirt was awesome, closely run, i think, by the BUKTA shirt we wore in the late 70's. I don't remember it having a sponsor but do remember the fancy trim on the sleeves. Unfortunatley I don't have a pic to show, but if you can see it on the cover of some of the 70's programmes.
Always love the red, but the cream with black collar shirt was probably my favourite... proper Mendonca/Hunt celebration colours...
Didn't we wear the cream and black shirt when we drew 4-4 away at Villa? The green, purple and white Viglen is a great shirt with the badge in the middle. That looked great when wearing a very expensive Italian leather jacket. As did the yellow Mesh shirt with the purple stripes on the sleeves. Franco - that Back To The Valley shirt. What was that collar all about? A roll neck sweater was a must with that one!
Chioce... being born without a neck means you have no choice Ponders. It simply has to be a v-neck all the way... See what I mean....: please log in to view this image please log in to view this image

I honestly almost died laughing at those pictures, Franco. It shouldn't be funny - but it so is! Thank you for the best laugh I have had in ages. P.S) Sorry Gladstone.
