The Boro defenders were staying close, and easing the Leeds midfielders off the ball with ease. Mowatt had a better game, but thought Cook was awful
Exactly. Last year Blackpool and the wallies meant the relegated teams were even worse than usual. Not a typical championship season. It's hard been right when I want to be wrong.
Its very typical that's why there's 10 teams below us.You said the same last season and were very wrong again.
Rosler's decisions don't seem to make a lot on sense? Why bring on Doukara? He would have been better with 3 centre backs today. WE GET ATTACKED DOWN THE MIDDLE TOO MUCH
I didn't expect the wallies to implode so spectacularly. If you aware content to finish 15-19th you might be happy with how things are "progressing ". Me I hoped for and expected more. What am I saying? With the madman in charge I will be happy to stay up on the toss of a coin at fl headquarters on the Monday after the season ends.
Cos our midfield is weak, spineless, has no real quality and completely lacks any leadership whatsoever. Not just today, but every week since we came back up.
It's no wonder Glorys match analysis make no sense. He's admitted he doesn't watch games but bases his opinions on what the rest of us write Anyone surprised by his revelation?
We so should have snapped up Joey Barton. With his experience he could give to the youngsters and add some bite, they would learn from him as well.
Why would they be? I watched it until it was obvious what I predicted would happen was going to happen. Surely that makes me a good pundit? It's obvious that the view from my armchair is better than that from yours. Don't start paddy!
I've been critical of our lightweight kids midfield for some time. Not sure this is the game to hang them on. Dominated possession, weren't passed through... In fact clayton commented how we'd out passed them, karanka and nugent on how well we played. Not enough cutting edge/end result but we played some football today and bossed the midfield for the most part
Taylor should have cut it out, we had three defenders in the centre who never dealt with it and although point blank it was straight at him. I think it even clipped his fingers. Silvestre is not the finished article, I understand that but he has his supporters and his place cemented living on the reputation of being a shot stopper. I am not blaming him for the goal but I wondered if he could have done better considering he was falling backwards and the ball went into the net just above his head. I agree about Cook, best player in a Leeds shirt was Berardi by a mile for me.
Rosler says his team are victims of being "too nice". Says he's told them they should have surrounded the linesman when goal was disallowed
Rosler a bit cryptic about his changes today. "Sometimes I can't tell you everything. I didn't plan to make five changes."
