Money around already tonight for Swashbuckling Epsom 4:55, who was well backed at big prices on debut where he finished a nice 3rd. Upped in trip to 10f tomorrow he look's bound to run well again and 9/4 is just about still available in some places.
I spotted this as well STH and Swashbuckling looks a decent bet tomorrow. I am going for a decent bet on a bigger priced horse however who I think will give a very good run for your money. Epsom 5.25 Amazing charm 10-1 This one is unexposed compared to everything else in the field and I feel this horse could be a little better than 70. in a race in which the others have played their hand, won races and shown themselves I am going for this horse to come out of the shadows from a lightweight and take the prize for good old Clive Brittan..
No mate. They are Michaels colours that are used for the partnerships and owners that don't want to register any colours. We have a share in a two year old at the yard that will debut sometime in October, will flag him up before he runs but unlikely to be ready first time up!
Afternoon troopers.Decent but tough looking curragh card.Small wager singles/double 2.20 Theodorico 5/1 2.50 Anamba 7/2
Coolmore and Stellar Mass for me over in Ireland today. The latter looks one to be suited by middle distance races and will improve with experience. The penny was seemingly dropping right at the very end of the race LTO and I just wonder if this horse might just respond best of all to pressure today at rewarding odds.
Thanks Ste, seeing if I can land a nice double if the Bolger horse can upset the odds in the Beresford and break the AOB stranglehold.
Another winner for McCreery! Toppy who is the other gentlemen in yoyr avator, are you the bearded wonder on the left
Haha, a couple of people have asked this. It's none other than Mr Fernando Alonso and McLaren boss Ron Dennis. I wouldnt mind being a penny behind Alonsos salary!
I'll also add that the picture was put up in anticipation of a welcome return to form for McLaren Honda in the F1, but as we all know, turns out my garden lawnmower has a better engine in it this year and things haven't gone to plan.
If Stellar Mass would have run in a straight line then he may well have got up. Not happy with Kevin Manning there, needed the whip in the other hand but he never really covers himself in glory does he.
Good call on Coolmore TC. Speaking of Johnston and Fahey yesterday, O'Brien isn't much of a picnic to call either is he, Moore must get a little frustrated from time to time with getting the wrong one.
