Finally something to feel positive about, even if it wasn't all 3 points.

The overall effort, the formation, the reaction from the crowd, plus some individual standout performances. All great to see.

BUT 3 points from 7 games is still very worrying. Especially as it is highly likely to be 3 from 8 seeing as next match is away to Man City.

I can only hope that yesterday will be thd springboard everybody needed to lift spirits and that Maclaren and the lads will have renewed confidence. I hope he has also seen that playing with Mitro and Perez together can work.

Whatever happens af Man City, we simply MUST beat Norwich and Sunderland to stand any real chance of survival. Likewise, we MUST get behind the team and help push them along. Yesterday was great to see and that includes seeing the fans give full support.

    HOWAY THE LADS!

Have to say I thought Anita and Colback were stunning in that first half. What a shift. They just over ran Chelsea and played lovely stuff. I wanted Colback out because he has been gash.. However he was as good as any. Anita should never have been dropped anyway. Sissoko prob about right Tash, he showed in the first half how he can do it, but then late on he was killing us. Saying Mitro was tired is not an excuse. he should not have been taken off. He was still drawing fouls and making it stick.

Perez excellent again. Colo - you need to rock up every week, you are the ****ing captain. It showed how much we need a left back who can defend. The young lad did well and he will be good cover for Janmaat. Mbemba did well in the main. Gini looks good and very versatile. That narrow 4411 worked. The wide lads tucked in well.

We have to kick on now. All that is needed to get the fans going is effort. Anyone who knew football said this. All the pros were saying it. It is annoying when people try to blame the fans, its a load of guff. Try they are with you, go through the motions they are not. Regardless of score or results that is the reality.

I couldnt see the game last nite so decided to watch a full match replay on Kodi this morning. One of my wifes friends knew the score last nite but i begged him not to tell me. He said he wouldnt, but that i would really enjoy the game. Now when he said that I thought it meant we had won, so even after Chelsea had equalised and the game was in it 96th minute I was expecting us to score. Gutted.. It shows how far we had slumped when a I am expected to ENJOY a 2-2 draw after we were 2-0 up with 12 minutes to go!!

Agree still can't find much solace in a point when we are in the position we are. We desperately needed the 3 points and really think it could cost us in the end. We simply cannot hold a lead that's even when we have a cushion, as I said before not good enough really.

Correct and only wins will keep us up. Looking at the full picture rather than just yesterday its still highly concerning and only a fish wouldn't think the same.

Ask youselves how that will effect our players of were one nil up in a game and ten mins to go?

    Its not good

This was my favourite bit from Sat. He did very well on the weekend. He looks capable of being one of those who can bring the level of others around him up. Still young and got to stop getting sent off but has potential.

Watching the replay again, Chelsea could have easily had 4 goals. 2-2 looks more and more like a great result after each playback.

The last 20 mins they were all over us. It did make a big difference when Mitro went off I thought although I am quite pleased to see McClaren trying to get Toney some 1st team exposure. We are not good enough at giving the youngsters game time. Sat was probably not the time given our current predicament though.

Colback played well on Saturday and certainly justified more than a 5

Colback 5 <laugh> He was at least an 8. Him and Anita completely dominated the midfield in the first half. Him getting injured did us no favours. First time he has played well this season mind.

I think you may have been blinded by ginger hatred. Understandable.

You'd never let a woman put you down like this would you Panthro...

Yeah but what about that dildo put down?

I think crap is an exaggeration. I think he is a PL squad player. Danny Guthrie of a few years ago type standard. Come on, do a job now and again. He is just not good enough to be a starting midfielder (unless he plays like he did on Saturday...which he won't)

I'm hard but I am fair hes a good squad player but in the next window he needs replacing with real cm quality if we are serious about top 8.

As for robodick I feel it's better for everyone including him that we don't go down my unpleasant road.
