I've got a dartboard and had it for about 2 years now so just by throwing a few darts whenever I get bored I've managed to get not bad at it, by not bad I mean just being able to direct the dart in the general vicinity of where I want it to go rather than the dart just landing anywhere on the board Having played myself and realising how hard it is and how long it takes just to be able to get a dart where you want it you start to have more respect for how good these darts players really are
This I've been playing on and off for the last 6 years and any of the top boys have more 180s in a match than i have in them 6 years ffs , direct 3 darts into a space the size of a cigarrette butt
Playing COD will be a sport soon. Just because you practice and get good at something doesn't mean that you are a sportsman. Will someone define sport for me I'm getting confused.
Sport noun an activity involving physical exertion and skill in which an individual or team competes against another or others for entertainment:
In my other post I said I wouldn't call Phil Taylor a sportsman but I respect what he's done and the skill he has Even you who seems to be so against it being called a sport must still be able to recognise the skill needed to be good at it
Anyone notice the description. Physical exertion. I thank you. Sword. and don't say sweating under the light' s Prick.
Look at my other post's I have said he has talent. I just dont agree with darts being called a sport. Just because it is on Sky Sports doesn't mean it's so.
Like someone else said is snooker a sport? Is golf? I don't think it's really important if people class them as a sport or not cos the fact is all the professionals need to have a certain skill to be good at what they do cos if it was easy then we'd all be doing it and making millions
It's a pub pass-time that has got WAY out of hand. You seriously have to question the people who attend to watch! ...
Ali's the greatest sportsman ever.as for Taylor my niece is a better sportsperson than Him.2 olympic medals and a World Champion
I played darts last night actually. I think half of my team would take great exception to ever being referred to as sportsmen. Taylor's a legend but I would be a bit dubious about calling him the greatest sportsman ever. It's a game and not a sport in my opinion.
Not a sport as such in my opinion, but I went to the Ally Pally a few years ago, it was a ****ing great day out.
