I'm going to Ireland v Italy at the Olympic Stadium, but couldn't get tickets for England's games. Perhaps someone will do the decent thing and get us both tickets for the final so that we can complete the hat-trick.
Were those the official pricesTaff? I hope you get carried to the ground in a diamond encrusted litter for that. Have a great day, if you get a chance for a pint try the White Cross on the river in Richmond, a lovely boozer, but doubtless very crowded. I think Youngs was injured by the way, from what Lancaster said after the game.
That was the pub I was in before the 1991 Final. I also took my wife and our 2 kids there before a Wales v England game (1994 I think) Will go there with my son in 2 weeks Yes - those were the official.prices
Well done the Welsh, they were magnificent in the second half. England just couldn't get going. I picked up a shout at half time and had to watch the rest of the match forty minutes behind. So we sat down and my mate get's a text from his Mrs that said ... ''Oh no! Can you believe it?'' That spoilt it somewhat. Does anyone know why Wigglesworth was bought on? He's the rugby equivalent of parking the bus. Why wasn't Danny Care involved? Surely he's a more forward thinking scrum half.
We've got Fotherington-Thomas lined up for a debut soon. Apart from the result, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Huge commitment from all the players. In fact in all the games I've seen I have been massively impressed by the players, haven't seen a head drop or a tackle dodged, even from teams being well beaten. The organisation goes, but not the courage and pride.
That was epitomised by the Welsh tonight. They were battered broken and beaten, nearly. The guts they showed when 7 points down and losing a further 3 players to injury. They had a scrum half on for a full back and a fly half for a wing. Biggar showed nerves for which the description 'steel' is insufficient. What a kick that was from the half way line. If only the R's could play with such courage.
The only thing I know about the rugby is that embarrassment to the English people Prince William, showed what a **** he is, like his old man, wearing a foreign shirt.
We was discussing that at half time last night Beth. Even if the R's came out for the second half and gave their all and put in a committed performance and still lose 3-0 we would have taken it. The lack of conviction by the team as a whole was tough to take. Sorry for taking this thread onto football. Back to the rugger.
