During the sting on Robson he made one statement that was rather revealing of the man himself. Brian said not exaclty but he did in so many words say it. "If you buy a club you must not pull out and sink it, you cannot buy te club and pull out and it not exist any more" and I expected of course the next line to be "I cant live with that" or something similar...but no he said. "I cant have that linked to my name" Brian Robson can't have taking over a club in dodgy circumstances and destroying it and taking a football club, a local enconomic source, a club that has fans, can't permit to be wiped out because of the damage it will do to his name.
